Go Ash !!
Leading from the front.
Batting, bowling all by himself. Even took two catches including one of his own c&b.

Ash the next superstar making in But really glad to see him trying his best to perform and showing his intention for comeback. I hope he can have a new consistent career start from Zimb series..

So disappointed with Naeem, Nazimuddin and Hom .. Naeem is proving he is fake "chokka Naeem", I mean come on against Malayasia team you can't score with ease then how can you against top teams ?!!

I believe Naeem is someone who takes a little time to settle down before he can go exploding. That is why I believe he is a suitable middle order batsman for the national side ODI team. It was not a great idea to open with him.

Is Rony Talukdar in the squad??? He could open with Nazimuddin for the next game.

But much better performance required to have any hopes of a gold.

Poor captaincy by Sir Ash. Mithun and Nazimuddin should have been given couple of overs aswell

At least he was Rotating the Strike keeping the scoreboard moving during the Collapse, if he got out in the Teens we would have been in some deep feces

These pitches in China are real turners, Pakistani Women were getting massive turn ... It evens out the playing field.
Thats why I said Ash was better then everyone today except Mithun with the bat. Ya absolutely no excuse for those 3 to get out so cheaply against Malaysia. I really don't understand what Dickens is doing in the T20 team. A lot of people really love Shuvagoto but it looks like he's got a long ways to go still and Naeem, well there is absolutely no excuse for such a poor batting display since he's a national team player.

I don't know but is it wrong for me to have high expectations for Ash? I know that the team was in trouble with the bat but I believe he should've had a better performance. A 30 ball 29 against Malaysia is not a very good score at all. He's pounced the best attacks in the world so I would expect him to bat a little better. Imagine if Imrul/Roqibul put up this kind of score? I bet everyone would go all over them and saying that their waay too slow.

For the most part all these players have been in the national team. This is pretty much our A team so I don't understand why people wouldn't have expectations for this team bhai? This is a Malaysia team that have unheard of players and here these players are collapsing. After all those matches against top tier teams how did everyone bat so poorly? I would accept a 180-200 score. 150/7 is just sad. I always am happy when BD wins but we need to do waay better if we want to face up against SL.

Could have been worse though, Bangladeshi cricketers can not play T-20.

According to PA most of the Malaysian players were worthy of "মেদ ভুড়ি কি করি?" advertisements! So definitely we could/should have imposed ourselves further; slow/turning conditions notwithstanding.

In a way I am happy that we lost our Pakistani boom boom style batting. That Pak kid, who score 100 vs China will be a crap player, and will not last for long if he does make it to Pro Cricket. I can bet on it. I will give credit to JS for changing our culture. But now we are in desperate need of big hitters. I feel he shouldn't have tried to change players like Naeem and other random sloggers. Now they are just confused.

Arehh bhai when your national team can't score over 150 against associates, how can you expect your B team to score that high?

Naeem and Faisal in T20. This is one of the biggest mistake the clowns(selectors) made when the selected the team. These are not even OD players.

We're a test nation bhai. We should expect them to pile the runs on the board against Malaysia at least. No excuse for a bad performance with the bat. Also I agree that Naeem and Faisal should not be there. Naeem and Ash should be with the national team training. Naeem from his past performances should definitely not be there. Faisal is not a T20 player at all. He should only be considered for tests. The team composition overall is very poor but not surprised BCB would compose a team like this.

I am looking forward to a good performance from Shuvagoto Hom... heard lots of good things about him...This tournament could be a perfect platform for him to stake his claim in the national probables...
I am not a believer of rushing young players into international cricket and then forgetting about them after one two failures. I hope BCB will give this guy ample opportunity with the A sides to develope and mature.

Don't worry much guys, Srilanka just narrowly won against a weaker side by 2 wickets chasing a mere 72, so in that respect we did way better, hence I believe we surely can get the gold! (SL vs Nepal: Scorecard)

Oh! that was close.
Well played Nepal.
Some tricky pitch it must have been.

Would have been great if we had to face Nepal in the semis

Still, bring it on Lankans.
After today's performance, I'd say our boys should be ahead in terms of pre match confidence booster.

wow...was that a pitch or a mine field!
i guess winning the toss and bowling first might be a good idea in these wickets...atleast then u would know how the pitch is playing before u go out to bat....

Is BD playing Afghanistan in any match. I am surprised that SL did so badly against Nepal because they can play 20/20, whereas BD has to learn to play this version of the game. Hope they do well.
Which teams are playing next? Hope BD gets at least silver.

BD plays SL in Semi. And unless Afghanistan pulls an Afghanistan, then BD will face Pak in finals.
