Dhut.... they are all candidate for triple century.... I am talking about double century.

Yes, you're on it. But I was zooming in on the period of the 90s. Steve Waugh and Co. Total domination, wear the opposition down...big partnerships.

There are more than one way to look at the Aussie approach

Well, Steve Waugh and Co. never won a series in India. So there's that little fact.

But yes, big partnerships - one of the keys to test cricket. I have a feeling a lot is riding on Sarkar's shoulders. If he does well, BD should be able to bat more than a day.

Besides, India do have a history of letting touring lefty batsmen do well - Andy Flower, Chanderpaul, to name a few.

India is unlikely to bat long enough for anyone to get a triple. They will need to settle for doubles if they can bat that long

Good facts, but I wasn't specifically directing my claim to only a tour to India-- it was in general.

I hope you can see where I was going with this...

But, Chanderpaul's first century was against India in Barbados...and that was 3 years after his debut. His record in India is not that bad-> 624 runs at an avg of 52 with 2 centuries.
Chanderpaul actually said some time ago that he loved playing in India and against them.

Brought back memories of listening to test cricket coverage on the radio left on for the night...time differences

My controversial statement of the day:

Bangladesh's best captain who uses the review system (up until now) properly is "Mushfiqur Rahim". Nine times out of ten I have seen him judiciously use the review system and succeeding and also not wasting it for the most part. You can disagree with other aspects of his captaincy but please give credit to where it's due . He should keep it up!

you know a player is that good when he is not liked...

chanderpaul spoke with his bat...lol

One of my country's greatest player.. proud to be a guyanese.

Bangladesh needs someone like him, someone who can put his head down and bat like there's no tomorrow.

No changes. Same crap team as NZ series. Expect a huge loss.
Why doesn't anyone change players? It's not like you have a winning combination!

india's batting is less of my concern. Take Kohli out cheaply and they are half done.
I am more concerned with their spinners. If we handle them well, I dont see any reason why we shouldnt win it.

Is the proceeding really within sight of 2 hours or is the chronometer incorrect?

I further argue that plaintiff is suing the company for 4 million dollars for compensatory and punitive damages for the incorrect information presented herein for causing grave misfortune due to scheduling conflict.

Match starts in less than 2 hours according to BC clock. That's not correct, it starts tomorrow, right?

WK have that advantage. But yes, hes used DRS well both as a skipper and as a batsmen.

Before there was Moin Ali, Mushy used DRS likr 5 times to score that hundred in the St Vincent Test.

My first goal - take the match to 5th day
Second goal - don't let India set any historic milestones (team or personal)
Third goal - win at least 6 sessions.
Fourth goal - don't give it all up in the end.
Anything else is gravy (maane "shuite chawa")

Kohli On Bangladesh's first Test on Indian soil...
They haven't come to India much is what I have recently found out. We've gone to Bangladesh quite a bit but they have never been to India for a bilateral before this. So yes, it is a historic moment for both teams and the countries as well. I hope this can happen much more. We have gone there too many times, they should come here more often. It will be great for them to come and play here in India. Great place to play cricket. They will enjoy it. I think it should happen more often. It is a special occasion. I just happen to be the captain at this time. But it will be a special day.
