Pretty self explanatory. Something has to give. I never thought Soumya would steal the limelight from Tanbir/Hom but he is REALLY on a roll. I don't blame him - he can prolly barely sleep at night these days. I blame selector, who I'm assuming is Hathuri.

I say we support Hathuri if he really wants to experiment, but campaign that he drop his subjects asap when the experiments are a clear failure. On to the next one, please.

Lots need to change. We are predictably headed to rock bottom.

Arrogance is god gifted. If soumya sarkar is struggling then y not mominul? Hence, hathuri is god gifted.

Tamim isnt suited for t20 as he throws away his wicket after wasting deliveries,so y not mehedi maruf or nafees?

Miraz bowled better than many spinners. Why not take him when kiwis have 4 lefties?

So, Where is nafees, arafat sunny who played crucial roles in 2015 successes?

Subhashis is a better bowler than rubel in t20? Rubel sud hv played in odis and suvasish in t20s.

I can only assume they did the same with Samaraweera, who is turning out to be the teflon don here. NOBODY in BC is mentioning our batting coach for past 4-5 months in the face of humiliation with the bat. I started a thread on it today, and barely got any attention.

If there's ONLY 1 guy to blame rite now it should be the guy in charge of batting. Hathuri's selections didn't make Tamim/Shakib/....../everyone flop with the bat.

Agreed. This boy can play. I remember him hitting zaheer khan, andre nel but always gets out playing rash shots.

If only he controlled his rash shots, he cud hv been a better player. Sorry to say, in ten years it hasn't happened nd idk if it ever will

Our players have been quite pampered and our fans/media dont help by going over the top when they do well.

The team has forgotten the basics of cricket. Their fitness and body lanuage is lathergic. Where Haturi is going wrong is keeping these guys always on a short leash.

Most of our senior players play harsh shots and havent learned anything you can say too. Its not just Tamim, but yes he plays more rash shots than others.

I also doubt Tamim's progress as its a bit too late to learn these things now in his career. But he is the best opener we have atm.
