Default Who has cemented his place for the upcoming T20Is and the T20WC?

Obviously, our T20I side is really BANG average if anything. It is good however that we still have some useful players in our side. I for one thing only a handful of our current players are a must for the T20WC.

Litton Das - Litton in his short T20I career has undoubtedly been the most effective batsman ever. Averaging close to 25 and striking at 140+. He is doesn't play blind shots mind you. Best part of his batting is he knows how to make good use of the field restrictions, particularly going over the covers as well as over fine leg. Also an agile fielder plus can keep which means Mushy needs to be careful. Definitely one of the MVPs of our current side should his form remain intact.

Saifuddin - Saifuddin has really been able to get the ball swinging with the new ball and even in the death overs. He can also bowl yorkers better than the others, not perfect yorkers yet but he can definite improve. As for his batting, he is the ideal guy to come at 7/8, as he has a solid base and can really whack the ball + Play some smart cricket too. Good technique. Saifuddin is an absolute blessing in this format and in ODIs too.

Shakib - Average T20 batsman. Lost his power game but can still score a few runs here or there. And his bowling is always there. Gives us a lot of options.

Riad - Definitely the best middle order batsman we have had in this format. He has got both the power game and also to build partnership. Quick between the wickets, and has the nerves to bat at clutch moments. Handy offie in T20s too.

Some other guys who have decent chance of making it through include - Afif and Fizz. I strongly don't want to go with Tamim because he is only decent for playing an anchor role which can already be played by Shakib. Shabbir has muscles but he is struggling as a finisher.

Maybe by the time the T20 we will have an XI like this:

Litton
Afif
Shakib
Mushy(wk)
Yasir
Riad
Shabbir
Saifuddin
Taskin/Ebadat
Shafiul
Mustafizur

Agree with this team. I do not want Tamim, Soumya, Shabbir, and Mosaddek in T20 team.

Besides Shakib and Mushfiq, don't see anyone who cemented a spot. Saifuddin may be, if he stays fit.

But he has Sabbir in his team

BTW, presence of Fizz, Riad, Shakib is confirmed. We do not really have a good T20 pipeline.

Potential in Saif and Afif. Mushfiqur becoming more a liability as day passes, he may need to take the Tamim's path. Veterans like Ashraful, Xiaur can be recalled and tested.

What happened to Nazmul Apu?

This list will abruptly change starting from the final. We need good bowlers who can check defend and take wickets. Batters who can bat by situations. Our batters still have not mastered T20 batting anf gets out going after every ball to hit out of the park without realizi g the importance of rotation or playi g accordi g to the situatiin. There will be good or bad days but for our players in t20 we have more bad days comparing to other top 11 teams in T20 . Fizz one dimensional bowling Shafiul emergence out of all the pacers and also bits and piece all rounders tell it all. I think we need to have balanced team rather than all alleounders who neither can produce great bowling or decent batting. BCB really need to arrange more matches not net sessions to dind t20 specialists.

Only the two Bhaira Bhai, that we can bet on it.

Choto shai-er Jamai can be the 3rd one.

All the rest are in the bubble.

Tamim and Sakib? By then, their mind will be somewhere else.

Saif and Rizz, they are too fragile. too early to tell.

Litton and SS? No guarantee.

Sabbir and Miraj ?? For Familiy reason ( first child born) will put them in odd position

Mashrafee? Come back kid? Possible but not likely.

Nasir, Anamul and Ashraful?? Nah .... chance nai

who is left?

If I were a selector, I would strip the full T20 team. Keeping Liton, Shakib (mostly as a bowler), Mullah, Fizz, Saif, Afif; I will put bunch of young players who can whack the ball freely and contain runs as bowlers.

No more Soumya, Mosa, Sabbir, Tamim, Mushy (unless he bats sensibly and to his strength) for T20i.

Have a look their T20i stats, simply pathetic. If you have bunch of players averaging 20's with S/R of 120, you will only score 140-150 runs in 20 overs. You need couple of players who will strike at 140+, not just one.

Aminul or Anamul?

The chance for Aminul (in the WC) is much much better than Anamul.
