^^This is from Domingo's latest interview-
Quote:
I have got a lot of confidence in him. I think he is going to be Bangladesh's best batsman. I cannot comment on what the media has said about him. I do not read them at all. Liton, when he bats, looks like the best batsman in the side and it's just the mental set-up of racking up big scores (that's required). Talent-wise, he is the best batsman in the country.

Liton, soumya and Sabbir, all very talented, soumya so far is the only one to really have done anything to really show it though, liton and Sabbir have done a little but not much.
By now the team should’ve had peak shakib, mushy, Tamim and Riyad as well as peak Sabbir and soumya with liton either already started his peak or going into it.
Guys like shadman and mosaddek in the mix as well. What happened?
Fizz, taskin, as above, what happened?

Interesting. I feel his assement of the pacers is good, though Id have picked Shoriful over Hasan Mahmud. But his opinion on both Liton and Mithun is at the least controversial. 25 and 28 are not young players.

Imo 25 is still a young player, we don’t consider them young in the BD team because they debut late teens early 20s so by 25 they have been around for awhile.

Not that I disagree with you fully, How many games did it take for mushy to get his act together? If I recall, he was terrible in the begining. Got his act together before 100 games I recon?

I would say Under 25 is a young player, at least for Subcontinent team standards. Babar Azam is an established player and some say he will make or has already made the batting Fab Four into a Fab Five. He just turned 25.

25 is an age where if a player is ready like Babar he’ll almost seem like a veteran at 25 but some may not have even started their international careers.
I would say 25 is still young but for sure liton should be doing better because he’s got a lot of international experience now.
But this is where the difficulty lies with liton, every new coach thinks he’s awesome, domestically he’s at the top but he doesn’t bring it on field internationally. He may turn out to be like Sabbir or riyad, or he could develop into a much better player, we will not know unless we give him further chances.
Some will want to give him more chances, others won’t. But it is definitely becoming harder to justify his inclusion.

It was different era we didn't have whole lot of talent pool. We should have rotation period. I am ok with giving Liton more chances but I would rotate Liton and Soumya with others.
