Still looking for a nice Shingara. Bongobazar is too far away!
I am keen to try a bakery place which does some Bangladesh specific bakery items like Irani roll. Sadly, only rastar quality bakery shop like Cheers sell them.
I will also visit Mainland China for some desi Chinese food.

Dhurr miya, aloor shingara holo original shingara. Going to try Sausly's tomorrow for Shingara.
Tried Irani kebab and Bangladeshi rotisserie chicken and naan today. Hmm.. so and so.
And, I learnt that broast chicken is actually KFC style chicken!

I also dislike Adnan too. Btw his bou doesn’t feature in all his videos. But tbh Bangladesh food bloggers aren’t that very good as Mark or Food Ranger.
The video was to give you idea for finding shingaras.
When Mark likes something it seems he has just had an orgasm.
And Food Ranger khali false expression korre and doesn’t represent his marking.
Would be nice if you shared photos and experience

LOL. Thanks. I was just watching some of the food blog videos you guys mentioned and all of a sudden had a moment where i thought i am missing out on life and was thinking maybe i should just go brave it.
I always get GI symptoms when i try food from BD no matter how careful i am. Never touched street food. But still last time I was in BD, I had so much belly pain i thought i was having a surgical abdomen.. Somehow avoided full blown diarrhea however.
Even sticking to good restaurants is not good enough. It's the source of water - just not up to healthy standard.
The thing is only reason I wanna go to BD is for the food. nothing else. that country has nothing else to offer to me. no important family. no need girls. nothing.

Ah nice crunchy piyaju is a delight but not that common in Dhaka on the streets.
I remember the mini ones in Chittagong and Coxs Bazzar were a nice tasty snack. Quite spicy as well.
Up in the north they have it with rice and thick daal.

You need to first stop going to the loo. For this, you need Imodium tablets.
Now, if you have diarrhoea where your belly feels bloated, you need Imodium with Simeticone.
Once you have blocked your exit, you need to take care of the internal threat. Here is where Flagyll tablets come in. Think of these as nukes. Unfortunately, you have to nuke your stomach for a few days.
Hajmola pills can also help you when you have those "Ya Allah, amarey bachao " moments in the loo.

O Mama. Have been watching Trevor’s video for some time.
Mama first came into my feed when I was looking for Muslims in China. He has done extensive coverage of Muslim cuisine and culture there.
Apart from the bhaapa pitha and chaa stall I have visited all the restaurants.
Nirob is just amazing. I think he only picked the items he liked as the Rui Mass was half eaten. Or probably he couldn't have all items. Haji IMO has lost its glory due to portion of meat. I was never a fan if Morog pilau as the sweet onions kills it for me.
With out for 3 more epiaodes .
I love how he calls everyone Mama. He tries to learn some local language where ever he goes.
