Surprised to see Sunil Joshi get the sack, I thought he did well with our Test bowling

Courtney Walsh was useless. Need to get a fast bowling coach who can actually coach not a big name.

Walsh is a terrible coach, but even then we cannot blame him whole lot especially when you gotta 'lullah' Mashrafe hogging up the space with 400 bowling average.

If BCB had put someone from Banglacricket as the bowling coach I am sure the BD bowlers could not have done worse. Wasting money on him all this while.

Name of Khaled Mahmud is high in the air as the probable coach for the Tigers in the tour of Lanka. At the same time former Bangladesh coach Chandika Hathurusingha’s name is also being heard as next full time coach. .

And they retained Walsh for what?
Seems like the boys goes gagagoogoo over salliuddin, should get him in as the head coach. Whenever they need to rectify something, he is the one who they go to either way.

And chop chop continues, everybody said that this was the best Bangladesh team fielded yet, real competitive, and if few blank spaces are filled with quality people it will be a force to deal with by the next world cup

With that said Bangladesh needs a fiery 150 bowler maybe two who can bounce and create fear, as well as more stable openers and lower middle order as 3-4 are stable, Walsh should be a scout maybe at under 17

You don't really think we lost the match for that. Do you? That rest was a good decision. Even shakib admitted he was exhausted during last 2 matches.

Not really, But practice makes perfect ask Shakib he will tell you. I would have settled for 2 days for every one. And 5 days only for Shakib, well he can turn up just before the toss.

I don't see how our CWC campaign was a failure. We performed as well as we could have. If you think Bangladesh is a team fit to play in the semis, you are dreaming.

Steve Rhodes sacking and non extension of Walsh's contract has to be biggest positive of this world cup for us.

Get Hathuri in now if he leaves SL. The guy was a master tactician and is the only possible option. Other top coaches arent either available or do not fancy managing mediocre teams like us.

Rhodes called the England match pitch wrong, which is ridiculous given his experience

Rumor is flying around that BCB want Hathuru back. However, Hathuru said he wants to continue with SLC.

Bangladesh should keep Rhodes. The players like him, they jelled with him well, he has good bond with the players and has a strong likeness for Bangladesh unlike other coaches. What more can one do in a year? Under him, don’t tell me there werent many success! There were, reached Asia cup final, won series away in WI, won home, won tri series. What more bcb wants? Bcb wants nothing more than to save itself and to divert attention. This is more likeusing cricketing politics to save their own face by showing to the fans it was the coach fault for not getting into the semis.

BCB is corrupt we knew that. But didn’t know they can go even lower too.

Did they not give Siddons lot more years? All other head coaches had more than 2 years. This isn’t fair on Rhodes who has done well, more than well enough to get another 1 or further say, if he wins the next Asia cup.

This is a very harsh decision to sack Rhodes. You can’t find anyone else that will jell and bond with the team like Rhodes as well. Fans should gather in Dhaka, at the stadium in Mirpur and demand to keep Rhodes till T20 WC. If they can be proactive enough instead of being satisfied with having all the matches at their ground near them.

I hope BCB identified candidates that are willing to come and coach us before rushing into this decision to fire Rhodes. It will be pathetic if we now cannot find a coach for 6 months

Don't worry. Our technical director is there to bail us out like he did last sometime. Plus apparently BCB thinks Rhodes didn't have any contribution in teams winning cause. So why bother paying for him?
