Who Played Better
I think BD did.
Batting first and facing the combined wrath of BL,GM, JG & SW.
As for Kenya, they only had to face Pollock ! Now don't get around arguing how good Ntini & Hudson are !!
As soon as we get our best 11 playing again, we'll only have 9 better teams than us, or heck, on our day, maybe just 8 teams.

As far as I can say
Steve Tikolo is the combination of Tushar Imran + Pilot + Alok Kapali.
Other Kenyan batsman just defended and faced more balls, did not score many - like Sujon's performance is similar to that of Kennedy Otieno + Collins Obuya.
South Africa bowling line up did not have Allan Donald and Nicky Boje.
As for the coming up South Africa tour of Bangaldesh: Justin Ontong is a very good leg spinner - he also tries to bowl (or emulate / copy) Muralitharan and was successfuly against Kenya too. So, our batsman will have more than one battle on their hands.

We played better.
Pollock and Co. doesn't compare with McGrath and his gang. Besides, Kenya scored 84 against this same attack not too long ago.

Face to Face
That's the only way we can figure out this whole thing. You take out Tikolo and I would go out of my way to declare Bangladesh 3-0 winners in the ODIs. That man, even if he plays bad, is the main factor for Kenya.
