Besides Talha Jubair's slight shin injury during the SL tour, I see that the only difference between them is in their batting.

Which means Tapash Baisya can bat - already has a fifty under his name in test match cricket - and although Talha Jubair can bat also, he is not as good.

But, Talha Jubair is a much better pacer to trouble Australia or New Zealand batsman than Tapash Baisya - if anybody has the chance to trouble any opposition batsman at all - it is Talha Jubair - not Tapash Baisya.

Default Talha\'s economy rate is only 4.8

Given that England's two most experienced speicalist batsman Nasser Hussain and Alec Stewart did not play, Talha Jubair has bowled for 10 overs with 1 wicket - the wicket of Trescothick and that also giving away only 48 runs. Whereas Tapash Baisya has given away 61 runs in his 10 overs with 1 wicket.

Also, Talha gave away 7 wides among his 48 runs, while Tapash Baisya did not give any extra run.

In addition, Talha was out for a duck after facing 2 balls and Tapash had scored 9 runs in 15 balls.

So, who would you pick? [Monju is a must - unless he is injured]

Default Fearsome 3 some

Just imagine a lineup that looks like this -

Manju
Masri
Talha/Tareq
Talha/Tapash

And the magic of either Rafique or Enamul.

I think in 2 years we will be restricting others to gettable totals on our day. Chasing it successfully might however be a different story altogether.

You're gonna have to consider the pitch condition.
