Default Pilot

Khaled Mashud b Warne 22 (69b 3x4 0x6) SR: 31.88

Pilot came in while the team was STRUGGLING at 13 for 4 after only 7.5 overs. Folks, he saw his 'recognized batsmen' go down meekly against the mighty Aussie bowling but as always, he remained unfazed. Even though he fell in the 30th over at the team total at 85 for 6, Pilot managed to bring some hope back in the BD camp.

Can't say this enough but we need to get a shrink to bring back the fire in our cricketers, Pilot has it, he is the captain and the rest of them can easily follow his lead. When you lead by example as Pilot has done his share (of it), aren't the others bound to follow that 'example' ?

Pilot's 22 may not seem much to some folks but looking at the overall picture, it sure makes a big impact.

Default Pilot is nowhere near, and yet

Pilot is nowhere near in terms of talent to either of the five specialist batsman in our side - also not near to Alok Kapali (It was totally Rafique's fault that we could not get past or reach 150 - because of his run out - but good for him and Bangladesh that he also took the only wicket to fall). And yet, he has been scoring a lot of runs.

Al Shahriar, Javed Omar, Habibul Bashar, Mazharul Haque and Tushar Imran all should be ashamed of themselves after watching Pilot.
