Huff-puffistan should be the new title for the cricket team.

Kabir Khan was just trying to defend after the thrashing. Their batting is so crap that my mate in my office told me that his Grade 1 team (local) could do better in batting.
I am just thinking what a rough game it would be when we will be playing against AFG next year on 21st Feb@WC. I am sure they will come back hard. And their so called ‘genius fast bowlers’ hitting the speed gun on the hard and bouncy Aussie pitch.
Hopefully, I will be in the stadium to see these big headed.

Bahaha looking forward to that match. It'll be in Canberra too, so plenty of Sydney residents will be there.

Also, just pointing it out, the comments we're referring to on this thread were actually the coach's perspective (a Pakistani), so there's no real point in embarrassing the Afghans on this occasion.

Afghan coach forgot that wickets in icc events are prepared by icc curators.

Is it? Any references? I know they are prepared with "guidelines" and those guidelines are basically lame ...

They are very over the top at times but it makes things interesting, good to see some associates stepping up afghans and Ireland are good teams now and Netherlands seems to be moving in a good direction even without RTD, Nepal are a rising team as well so it's exciting for cricket.

icc guideline has 2 rules about pitches
1.if india plays make the pitch as flat as possible
2. if india isn't playing we dont care

Tom Cooper's (Aussie) contribution can't be understated in Netherland's case. I do wish they had RTD, though. With Cooper, RTD, and Nannes (another Aussie), I'd tip them to top their group and potentially beat us as well.

I think we should not be concerned about what Afghanistani players say....most of them might think that they are playing in the streets of Kabul.

After the loss to Nepal, you all know talk is cheap if you can't back it up.
We are sometimes guilty of that also.
We should not be so concerned with what any "Joe Smo" says but value what guys like Sanga has to say.

I am getting tired of the rubbish excuses the players and bcb are making. Not to forget the high expectations of fans who went to the moon after a few wins with associate members
