Default Match Thread: World T20 - 3rd Match. First Round Group B: Ireland v Zimbabwe at Sylhet | March 17 2014 (15:30 local | 09:30 GMT)

FIRST ever International LOI cricket match in the Sylhet International stadium. As a Sylheti this a proud moment for all and the nation will have it's first green gallery, and without a doubt this stadium will be amongst one of the most beautiful in Asia if not the World, in terms of the sceneries surrounding the stadium.
had to open this. will go down in the BC history

As for the match, I'm more interested to see how the look of the Sylhet new stadium in full, and the green gallery than match itself

^^^ Good luck Sylhet. Not a match thread opener. Got the beating of life time by Zim last year. No more match thread from me Zulfiqer bhai.

Sylhet stadium looking good.

^ I will have to watch it on replay. Too early for me. Today saw last 30 minutes of a shortened game of Afg and BD. I want to see that hill spooning the stadium - should be nice!

I am more interested to see the look of the new stadium than the match itself But an exciting debut game for the ground wouldn't hurt.

Agree to OP. Anyone who has some Sylhet (my ancestors from greater Sylhet) in gene, should be proud. Good luck Zim.

I hope Zim wins it for their own good. Ireland is too arrogant for my liking.

All the pundits are giving it to Ireland. They forget Masakadza,Taylor and Chigumbura can be really dangerous.
