Who will b the best spinner of Bangladesh in next couple of yrs?
Spinners are one of the weapon for Bangladesh cricket. Currently rafiq is the best spinner of bd. there is few more spinners in the team. manjurul, enamul(jnr), raj they r in national squad now. Among them manjurul is very consistance, enamul is very promising and raj did well against Zim A. Rafiq is now 36. so he ight play two more years and then retire. so who gona b the best spinner in bangladesh team aftr rafiqs retire....?

i guess u've to wait until rafique retair to see that.
bangladesh is a gold mine of spinners, specially SLA's. I'm pretty sure that there will be many more new names to count by the time our rawfreak retires.

Rafique's Official birthday (original one
) is 5 September 1970.
So he will soon be 34 not 36.
Still long way to go!

Every new post is making Rafique younger and younger. So, it is my turn now to reduce his age. So here goes:
Rafique is 30

Rafique can not be 30. He passed that age already.
His profiles can be viewed from Criciinfo, Bangla Cricket.

I could understand that cricetfan was joking, but for a while I though that 200SX really meant it (the age in the 1st post was mentioned as 36, so was thinking that he might not be sure again... ).
Ahhare asole ii jodi 30 hoto tar boyosh, ar consistency bojay rekhe khele jete parto aroo besh kisu bosor!

I heard from sources close to BD cricket that Rajjak Raj spins the ball quite well. Only his "faster" one may have suspect action.

Yes, impressed by this young man.
I am going to stick my head out for Razzak Raj. Besides coming to grips with spin, he has the right mentality or shall we say demeanour, to deal with the rigors of adjusting his style, to meet the demanding conditions of international cricket.
Furthermore, I believe he is well placed and liked by the selectors. We will see him soon and very likely in th tests against SL.
His weak point is batting and this should be handled by the new batting coach early on.

We don't have any quality leg spinner. Both Kapali and Ash are leggies, but they are lacking quality.
Javed Omar is also a leggie. These are all part timer. No specialist leg spinners.

jaihok,
ami kintu mone kori je ashraful ar theke kapali is better with the leg spin. i think kapali should also concentrate on his boling besides his batting. then maybe he wouldnt be kicked off the team right away if he looses his form with the bat. and he already has a plus point that he is a very good fielder. and in cricket now a days field is also an important part of the game.

I think it will be exciting to see Raj develope into a strike bowler. He is held with high admiration. I heard that he mimiks Murali's spin.
