1. IMO those 4 changes came at the right time. We have came a long way now from the time we used to include out of form players just to fill out numbers and used to prioritize those with international experience. When we had players like mosa and Sabbir, it was right decision to rest Riyadh.

2. One thing no one is talking about is contributions of our fast bowlers. They were economical, even when they weren't taking wickets they were able to keep run rates on check. In the past if you look other bowlers such as Rubel - used to leaking runs and helping opponents settle. This may at the end helped us crossed the line.
No.2 is what I was arguing all along. Should have selected Taskin ahead of Taijul IMHO

Taijul wasn't used, he should have been used more, if he was mustafizur and shakib could have cleaned the tail up quicker, instead they bowled on tired

A memorable/historic win for Bangladesh. Congrats to the boys for delivering this. The struggle is real.

Everyone should know that the foundation is set for factory to start churning out wins in a more consistent basis. Results will continue to favor the team once they get on the train to the factory. The knack of seizing the momentum like a whip.... No budge, swift ferocity of a Bengal Tiger.

Over the past couple of years victories by teams that I've been following have brought tears of joy on my face, even cried when my one of my favorite players retired.

This test match I have not watched a single ball, a younger me would have stayed up all night and watch, but I don't hate myself for not watching. I was still following on sites that gave commentary and of course on this forum. But this forum has been sour, dark, or negative...lotS of lots of knee-jerk, I don't see the enthusiasm anymore, the so-called , 'Blind-support'. I applaud the change of heart and the mature mind.

Persistent and frustrated were some other feelings I had ......but was this win for me or for the whole of BD? Die-hard supporters.

I still vividly remembered the 2009 series win in the West Indies, during that time I watched and follow every single ball. The enthusiasm I had back then is still with me. I love bd cricket, it's just some of the fans who paint a very negative picture of its cricket. Those are not enthusiasts. There, I said it.

It is very important that players and fans alike remain humble and continue to grow together in maturity -- which is a good thing.

I love this game too much, there is not one scintilla in my that would ever lose interest in it.

Something this morning, I woke up and check the score...opened my phone and went straight to cricinfo commentary (which I bookmarked a few days ago)...I saw that 35 runs were needed. I went back to go sleep. Didn't know why, I had a good feeling that with me asleep, Bangladesh would finish the job. All my thoughts were with you guys who were sacrificing sleep for this victory to come. I commend you guys
I hope you guys feel the same.

It is a test match victory and it is overseas, against a team that is ranked higher than us. Yes....us.

These boys can play, but personally I think they have to be more disciplined. You can be disciplined in many ways....you perform, perform, perform,...play on merits, but never think of the falsehood that you are bigger than the game...

Be the best improving cricket nation that world cricket need at this moment. Make the next 100 test matches exciting and entertaining, worthwhile....etc.
Be the pride of your country. Make records, break records

Thanks to the team management and coaches, hatursinghe and walsh..sammerawa. .

Thank you BK bhai for opening the historic match thread... luck of Irishman hehe...

Sorry, I would have type something in Bangla, but that I am void in. Hehe

I will continue to support Bangladesh.

Go Tigerssssss!

Well done Tigers. You have three world class players in Shakib, Mushfiqur and Tamim.
Very impressed with youngsters like Soumya, Mehdi, Mossadek, Mustafizur.
Indeed a great victory underscoring prowess of Bangla team in the sub-continent. You can any team in sub-continent is my view.
Compliments from an Indian fan.

Welcome to BC. Indeed those three has given us a platform, a standard for others to surpass. The Young guns are performing. When they get consistency, they will surely take us to new heights. This was a total team effort.

Congrats BDTigers for this amazing win. #100th test win #1st test win against SL

Was about to pluck my hair with every wicket fall. It reached its extreme when Mushy looked anxious and Mosaddek got out, especially knowing that our tale-enders don't bat.

But BAN doesn't win/lose without giving goosebumps. I wish we had a 3-match test series and win the whole away series.

Hopefully this win will reflect in the ODI and T20 series.

Again, congrats to all senior players, youngsters and coaching staff for this historic win. And we will start winning regularly if we get to play more.

Yes congrats are in order Allhamdullilah. But this win was well deserved in the end.

However luck played an important role as well beside some great efforts. We now need to reduce luck being a major contributing factor in our wins!

Well done & well played at the end. Nerve wrecking test cricket at its best - Day 5, last session! Hope many more wins to come in near future. Winning the 100th test made it more special.
Not quite full strength - Matthews missing. But we were missing Taskin and SL didn't need Mathews to thrash Australia 3-0. Taskin's importance to our team as a bowler is equivalent to Mathews importance as a batter.

England too were missing Anderson and Broad, but we were missing Taskin and Mustafiz. So again that is even stevens.
