Default Imrul has been offered to play in English County Cricket

Massive news for Imrul. Well deserved. Guess that blistering SIX against Eng ODI side earned him this.. congrats!!

yup just saw this in a news clip. Massive news really.... From a batsman avging 17 to getting interests from county sides, this sums up how far he has gone. And he came this far without really getting any backup from neither the management or the coaching staff.

Playing in those conditions will be another step towards eliminating those few flaws he currently has. Plus the CT and WC is there... Getting an opening pair who are used to playing in those conditions will bring much more stability and consistency for the batting lineup

from what I understand, Shakib got a call from one of the teams to inquire about Kayes and have shown interest. Shakib informed the coach and Kayes right after. Makes me think if its Worcs that are interested.

I believe that after the champions trophy we will have a break before Pak series.

If I recall it is something like

March-Sri Lanka
May to June -Tri series, Champions Trophy
September-Australia

There will also be a Pak series in between

Can you provide any source/link in relation to confirmation of SL and Pak series ? I keep hearing about this two series' , but could not find any valid source confirming that.

I am pretty sure the Lanka tour is pretty much confirmed but I have no links

Regarding Pakistan tour, there has been speculations so far. But I believe that Pakistan is eager to tour

He said playing in the county will be his biggest achievement?

Disagree with that. Because playing for your country at the highest level is the biggest archievement any cricketer or sportsman can have.

Am sure he didn't really mean it like that. Sometimes you lose yourself front of the media, in terms of what exactly should said.

Wow. Congratz Kayes! Keep performing, and hopefully we'll get to see you in IPL as well.

Very happy for his pay check. Any sportsman deserves to monetize their craft fully.

Now, Is it First Class, T20 or everything.

Mominul Haque also deserves a county contract.

Mehedi Hasan Miraz also deserves a county contract.
