syed rasel was injured and robin (mahbubul alam) played replacing him.

england wanted to bat 2nd time. COOK asked BD captain to declare. bd captain said they want to take a handsome lead. so cook decided to give them a big lead in quick time. so COOK himself along with his opening batsman partner CARBURY started bowling loyng hops, half volleys and jucy full tosses. fielders were waiting on boundary and was only chasing the ball after it crossed the boundary.

anyway both dollar and shuvahoto has big hitting power but dollar is a headless chicken. more often u will fing him skying the ball for easy catches.

shuvagoto has the mentality to flourish in formats of the game and in all kinds of sitauation

IMO, it is far more important for all national teamers to prepare for zim series and the world cup, then compete for some gold medal in Guanghzou.

so i'm guessing Ash's training camp call-up trumps his captaincy duties in China. that makes sense. i wasn't sure if he was going to be doing both.

Good for Ash.

Sri Lanka looks to be the favourites on paper to win the gold. Pakistan seems to be the weakest of the 3 Test nations, and that makes Bangladesh and Afghanistan strong contenders for a podium finish.

For women's team, assuming Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be sending their national squad, BD should target a place in the final - winning it all might be a bit too difficult.

So, what if Ashraful, Naeem, Suhrawardi, Nazmul - all four are called up to the ODI squad for the Zimbabwe series?

I guess Elias and Shubhashis can replace Suhrawardi and Nazmul, but Saghir and Rasel are obviously not like for like options for Ashraful and Naeem. IMO, Anamul Haque and Mahmudul Hasan should be called up to replace those two.
