It's difficult to narrow it down to 2 people, but I would say Mahmudullah, Naeem Islam, Tamim Iqbal, Suhrawadi Shuvo, Mahmudul Hasan and Shakib al Hasan. Although I'm not sure if SH counts as he's already the number one ranked allrounder in the world. (It felt good typing that)

This is all very interesting, but not exactly what I was intending. Let's accept that Roebuck would rather not mention a random Bangladeshi player as he doesn't know much about our cricket and accept his profuse apologies for that omission. Now members of BC have a much better knowledge of BD players.

So, I ask again, if you had to pick 2 BD players you think Roebuck should have included (minimum age 24 and to make an impact in the next 10 years) who would it be?!

So far we have shuvo, mahmudullah and Shabbir Rahman. Over to you...

There is a reason for this.

You should also notice how Bangladesh is also excluded in any serious Cricket analysis.

Guys we don't need Peter Roebuck's seal of approval. All we need is our boys performing. He is just a voice, those are his opinion and ignore him. He is not a fortuneteller (not that I would still believe him). Let us follow Abu and give our version of stars.

Next 10 years:
Ind: Rohit. He will come back with a bang. Can't get in to side because of Dhoni.

Pak: Obvious choices plus Ahmed Shehzad.

SA: They have a balanced side. Young guns will have hard time breaking in to the side. Now a spinner or two can always make a headline in next 10 years. Parnel.

Aus: Waiting for Ponting to retire and hand over the torch to Hughes, D Hussey.

SL: How old is Samarewara? I like Perera. He is only 20.

WI: Obvious choices.

Zim: I like few of them. However, they have a huge hill to climb back.

Eng: All I see is them going down. The curve is very steep.

BD: 10 years is almost an eternity for us. We may have some players with Animal instict. Did I mention he can fly? If we can give Rubel, Abul the right guidance, Every team will fear us.

With the marvel of modern biological experimentation can we have some scientist work on their adrenal glands and GFP( green fluorescent protein) , so that they can transfer these two to Hulkish type pacers..though I don't get know how Ameer or Ishant can bowl that fast even they have skeleton structure

Guys, Guys!!! I think everyone misunderstood this peter guy here. He said watch out for these players in 10 years So he picked out 13 players from a pile of c**p line-up. So, it would be an insult to us if he included BD players with those players in his list

The way things usually goes in BD cricket, in 5 years we'll have a team consisting of 2/3 players of current team. So, if you are to pick two, you have to pick players who have not played their first game yet. OBY, have not held the cricket bat/ball for the first time.

In ten years, I think we could still have Ash and Sakib.

Default Sakib, riyad v The Adil

In comments section i said I wanted Sakib and Riyad in there..also told Roebuck to check out our u-19 boys thrashing England on youtube..I saw Anamul for the first time yesterday and was amazed at his whole batting technique, temperament...some shots need improving but he looked more an international batsman than most of our current lot.

Think Peter included Adil so that the English come read this and nod their heads in approval..we have 20 cricketers better than him, don't we? Think India'd have another 15, and Australia would have...well let's forget about their spinners.

Under 24??
Isnt it like the whole Bangladesh national team sans 3 players???

So, he just could have said the whole team to save his time and effort. But he was too scared to do that.
