And why is that mashrafee the thug playing cricket? Nobody wants to watch this manipulative , power tripping hack limping in field and boss ppl around.

I still get mad remembering watching his efforts in 2019 WC..

I mean at what level has he been training past few years ??? He is more busy planning on how to steal the next election I am sure.

BPL will remain low quality as long as corrupt low quality men like mashrafee still play in it.

I don't follow anything outside of national team or any bd politics. Is he power hungry like many politicians?

I think he is a typical politician. I don't follow either but few of his interviews and drama sorroundning him when becoming MP was enough for me to form the opinion. He will not fight the status quo. He will gladly be part of it though.

He defended the election vehemently saying it was fair where he won 96% of the vote. I guess he doesn't have a choice but that's precisely the problem. You can't project yourself be all good and just and then be part of a corrupt election and gain from it and then defend it. U had a choice not to take part in it. So in my book he is a fair game for me to call him like the way I see him. Actions matter not words. He also doesn't wanna give up cricket. He was limping on the field in WC - it doesn't make u a hero - u makes u a selfish passenger who don't know when to give up.

BPL team for him is not about money - (he is making plenty being part of the political dynasty -) - it's him trying to relive his glory.

Usually during BPL people watch in Tongs, outside TV stores etc. But is has been so frigging cold here in BD for last couple of days that everyone is inside, I haven't seen any que outside TV stores to watch the matches. I wonder if there were any spectators at all in the stadium.

Man its soo cold here, feels even colder than Melbourne, and I was there when melbourne had their coldest year in 50 years..thats saying something

Temp isn't that much..usually 20 degrees in days and 11-14 in night but because of the humidity it feels like less than 0

Sounds like Canadian summer to me, lol.

Changing topic, look at this quality production after what? 10 years already?
H546Nlp.th.png

Even PSL, or other leagues (even the new lanka league) has a better broadcast quality.
H54sERS.md.png

And then we have morons trying to compare BPL to IPL ...

LMAO look at this Azam Khan, where'd this behemoth come from??

People make fun of Yasirs weight, but Azam makes him look slim. Speaking of which, if Azam can score like that then what's Yasirs excuse

Instead of Towid Hridoy, Rony, and Jaker Ali we play bunch of duds like Mossadek, Soumya, Nurul, Mushfiqur in the national team.

BPL is a cancer for Bangladesh cricket.

The quality is quite poor. Pitches tend to be bowing friendly which does not improve batting fundamentals required for this format.

Umpiring is quite sun standard.

So far, Hridoy is the emerging player of the tournament. Too bad he's out with injury for now.

Has Nasir done enough to get another consideration for LOI teams?

Not many BD batsmen to look forward. They are terrible and can't even score in BPL. Only stand out is Hridoy and known players like Shakib.

BCB deserves a player like Shakib. Not because of how good he is as a player, but because he can say WTV he wants and get away with it. What are they gonna do? Bench him? lol

Shakib knows this and uses it to his advantage. BCB can't do sh*t and he makes them look like fools.

Just look at the stuff he has been doing at BPL lol. Arguing with the umpire for a wide ball (even though it's the umpire's fault for giving a wrong decision), running onto the field (even though it's the umpire's fault for not knowing the law), putting BCB's a$$ on fire with his pre-BPL comments (even though he is 100 accurate - a league like Dubai T20 gets DRS and this incompetent BCB running the league for 10 years can't get it?).

BCB should give special thanks to Shakib for all the publicity he's providing to BPL, positive or negative.

Morons still doing such a poor job marketing this league, after so many years! Who in their right mind put a pause on a league on Saturday-Sunday?!

They should just hire someone from IPL from India like the UAE and I believe SA league. At least the broadcasting will be better, the quality will be better, players will emerge properly and better international starts will come to play.

There is zero point running a **** show like this and keeping it 100% BD when the quality is garbage like this. This is where a bit of gratitude should be shown towards PCB and PSL. At least they did a decent job till now. I have no doubt SL league might surpass us soon.

BCB is incompetent and corrupted. This is the best they got to offer. At least, they managed to get hold of many PSL stars.

Mritunjoy was hitting 148k speeds today. Not sure how accurate speed meters are in BPL.
