Bangladesh is yet to -

- Win a test series away from home (barring the win against a West Indies B-team in 2008).

- Win a tri-series (T20I/ ODI) away from home.

- Win the Asia Cup

- Win the Champions Trophy

- Win the T20 World Cup

- Win the World Cup

I don't believe we've even won an away T20 series against a team other than Zimbabwe.

All this despite playing cricket at the highest level for almost 25 years now.

The way I see it we are at a severe risk of being overtaken by teams like Zimbabwe, Ireland and Afghanistan across all formats of cricket. These are all countries where cricket has never really been the most popular sport to rub insult to injury.

How BCB senior management has stayed unchanged for a decade throughout all these failures is completely beyond me. The coaches are almost always turned into scapegoats.

This isn't even an issue of improving our grassroots level cricket, we've won the U-19 CWC in 2019 I'll have to remind you. But despite continuously performing well at an U-19 level our players are failing to deliver when transitioning to the senior team. Something is seriously wrong here. BCB needs to be investigated here for their failures. If that doesn't happen, we'll keep seeing such poor performances from the national team.

I mean why do we persists with a$$holes like Yasir Ali and Hassan Mahmud?? Why is Shanto still in the team?? If we want a change why not give a youngsters a chance we know recalling garbage players dont work.

Shohan also shouldnt make the team as he is a nonsense batsman. He doesnt even know the basics of wicket keeping even after his Captain tells him and almost lost the game to Zimbabwe.
