Well, he can play both roles in a team, either stabilizing or hitting big. Good technique, nice timing. One to watch out for, and expect him to be as good as if not better in terms of credibility to Shakib.

we need to hunt down players like him, instead of giving chance to mediocre players who never improve.
I'm sure if Hom who wasn't among runs in domestic league, was given all 3 ODIs he would do better than Ash or even Alok.

Cons

- Sometimes he gets too excited
- Plays rash shots now and then
- Some technical flaws in batting

All these cons are due to inexperience and young blood. These cons can be rectified with times and experience.

Wish him all the best.
good analysis..

I always liked him. A very good innings (50) today. He saved BD from collapsing after Mushy left. Otherwise, the total would have been 160 all out!! Anyways, this tiger is here to say. He needs to go up and bat at position 6, while Shakib and Mushy should bat at 3 and 4. Bring Hom for the last ODI. Kapali's done and dusted. It's time for us to keep him in the Hall of Fame and move on. As of Sir Ash, no comments!!

Good job Nasir for your 2nd Odi's batting performance

In the first ODI, wasn't happy with your fielding though..

Best thing about Nasir is ,both of his fifties came under immense pressure.
for the moment I say he should bat low,he could be our M.Beaven but may be wouldn't be bad if he comes before Naeem.

Thumbs up Super Like

Great Job Nasir

I've been saying for a while now we need to stop the merry-go-round of swapping Ash, Nafees, and Junaid for the number 3 position, they're all as bad as each other. Promote Shakib to 3, have Mushy at 4, Riyad when fit again at 5 and then Nasir at 6. That's a pretty decent looking middle-order. Nafees can fight for a openers place with Imrul and Tamim (Tamim needs to fix his attitude/ego problem and needs to get the message that he is not bigger than the team).

I think we need to be more patient with him and let us watch how he does in other matches for a year/6 months....but the selectors can always give him a chance so that he can bat up the order at position 5....let Shakib and Mushy bat at 3 and 4

doing well so far with the bat. comes in down the order, usually late in the innings and scores solid runs at a great strike rate. his bowling hasn't impressed like i had heard it would but still i think we have found a good solid batting prospect.

He's just a young little guy with a mature head over his shoulders and a big heart inside his sternum. Way to go, Nasir!

He is not giving any flight. That's the reason for very ordinary bowling. You need to vary your flight if you want to be successful as a spinner. The more confidence he gets in his bowling the more flight we will see in bowling from him. As a result you may expect him getting better with his bowl gradually.
