I would not expect you to know the value of the martyrs of 1971 who died for Bangladesh.

No match-winning century from Kohli today.

Rohit crosses 8000 ODI runs

From 2-0 to 3-2 series win. Superb comeback series win for Australia. Probably India should have used the military cap.

The hilarious part is Team India started donning the military caps from the 3rd ODI on-wards and that is when Usman Khawaja went beast mode (two centuries and a 90s) for the rest of the series

Incredible stuff from Aus, winning T20 & ODI series against Ind in Ind without Smith & Warner.
this will hurt Ind confidence before WC

India correctly included D Karthik in their WC squad.

Not sure how KL Rahul got included - this guy is only good for IPL T20. Total waste at national level.

All out by 6 runs

BD vs Rest of Asia and Rest of World matches will take place on March 18 and 21 next year, to celebrate Mujib's 100th birthday.

One of the matches will get official T20I status.

Thought this would be Mash's farewell series?! Will he unretire from T20I to bid farewell to his international career?

Should have retired before WC. But nonetheless, timely exit - he understood that his time was over and retired with grace. Very touchy words!

Quote:
"Firstly, all Glory and thanks to the Almighty for granting me this Proteas journey which has been nothing but a joy and privilege," Amla said in a statement announcing his international retirement on Thursday. "I learnt many lessons during this incredible ride, made many friends and most importantly shared in the love of a brotherhood called #proteafire.

"I would like to thank my parents for their prayers, love and support, it is their shadow over me that enabled me to play for years under the Protea sun. Also, my family, friends and agent, my team mates and every member of the support staff throughout this incredible journey. A heartfelt thank you to every one of you!
"The fans for energizing me when times were tough, and for celebrating with me when we succeeded together. Siyabonga South Africa!

"And, of course, a very special thanks to the President and the Board at Cricket South Africa - not forgetting the Chief Executive, Mr Thabang Moroe, and his administrative team. I really appreciate all the opportunities and am truly grateful.
"Love and peace."

Few cricket observations:

- SL finally found the right captain. Dimuth Karunaratne brings the calm the team needs. SL will likely shine under him

- Steven Smith - this is true greatness. Saves team from defeat time after time and even wins for them, unlike our GOAT Shakib Al Hassan.

- Kohli still rules BCCI. Shastri retained as India coach. Lets see if India can win the T20I WC under him.
