Fizz playing T20s in ODIs this year
Mustafizz has been playing T20s in ODIs this year. look at the top wicket takers this year. he is up there at the top but look at his eco rate vs others. even in this T20 age this eco is not acceptable in ODIs
he has taken many wickets but how many of them has he taken at the start of his spell? where his fellow top wicket takers all have taken good amount of those wickets at start

This along with Tamim's below 80 SR, he was avging 60+ with this piss poor SR..when your players are giving 100+ runs of 100 balls and scoring less than 80 of 100 balls how do you expect to do well

Yesterday's match was the classic example of what you have written here.
SL started briskly. BD could not get early wickets.
When we batted, it was opposite. SL got early wickets. We were limping with horrible run rate too.
Mustafiz has completely lost it. Giving seven runs per over on average is not acceptable even in T20. Even Shafiul's first three overs were better than what we see from Mustafiz now a days.
Mustafiz is becoming another (S)Rewbel unfortunately. He should not be considered automatic choice to the team anymore.

ToBeFair to fizz I did some apple to apple comparison with his stats, this year he only played in Eng,NZ,Ire and SL. So I compared his stats in these countries for this year and before against top nations. His SR and Avg significantly improved, it seems like he is trying something to get wickets and being successful at it at the end. but he needs to get his **** together and take that eco rate down
This year
before 2019

No argument on wickets but look at his stats before and after 2019
In 40 overs he has given 400 more runs..you can't win games with that even if you take 10 wickets

1 wicket every 24 balls, he doesn't even bowl with the new ball.
Maybe if he support the econ would be better

On top of that he'll get a batsmen like Rohit Sharma out in single digits only for an incompetent fielder to drop it

He is also been one of the best bowler in last two major tournaments. However, he is not getting enough support also his economy is too high.
His stats may look good, but I don't think he has had any impact besides the RSA game in WC.

I agree. You have to look at the other bowlers we have in the team, and compare it with other sides. It's not all his fault. The other fast bowlers are ordinary compared to i.e. Australia and New Zealand. Even Bumrah will struggle within this Bangladesh bowling line-up but even worse. Mustafizur playing for India would've been ranked #1 in limited overs.

Man of the WC Kane Williamson also has an 80 strike rate.
80 strike rate for your anchor is fine. And if Tamim faces 100-120 deliveries his strike rate approaches 100.
Tamim may be in poor form now, but he's a world class opener. In fact one of the best openers in Asia (probably second best after Rohit).
Our issues are hacks like Mithun, Liton, and Sabbir getting opportunity after opportunity while genuinely talented players like Mosaddek are left out or forced to bat out of position at #7.
And our fielding was amatuer level at world cup. Probably worse than any team except Afghanistan.
On top of that our pace attack was mediocre (Saif did OK, and Fizz did well though not outstanding due to his poor econ rate).

The prob is KW's bowlers were not giving 120 runs per 100 balls. So KW could be the anchor

Fizz has lost it in the head. Mentally his mind is somewhere else. Boy from such humble background now drives or has a certain car and what not, just got married. It all came to quick and gold soon, blessed with many things and it can take an affect if you dwell on it, thinking how u came from where you were. Plus after marriage BD players most likely go out of form or don’t play as well for some time. It’s a period where he is going through the motions, good happy personal motions. I’d say rest him for while, no test for him. Only T20s for now.
