Habibul
Lets hope a bouncy wicket (cricinfo comm) and a collection of mostly fast bowlers (a few newcomers) provides him with the perfect receipe to pick up his 2nd hundred. Long due from the great one - you are our Tendulkar!! We've been exploited as newbies, now lets return the favor.
SL 1st innings - 330
BD 1st innings - 300
BD gets its 1st legitimate draw ??
Also, have you guys noticed the sea of difference in the tone that Wisden uses vs Cricinfo on their prediction of this test's outcome ?

Both are
I have not read what Wisden has said in full, but from the looks of the headline in www.wisden.com and from Cricinfo, I would say that both are exaggerating in negative and positive ways.
There is no way that this second test match is a B test match and there is no way that Bangladesh can win from here.
Again there is the possibility of "ould haves" which I assume none of you will like to listen.
Bangladesh could have smell the sign of first ever test victory if we had not dropped chances, misfielded - which things happened a lot often than the scorecard suggests.
SriLanka would have been at least 100 runs short of 300 by the end of the day if not for the following reasons:
1) Catch Dropped
2) Misfielding
3) Overthrow
4) "30" runs given away by SL umpire Peter Manual to Michael Vandort (by not giving the decision of caught behind off Talha Jubair's bowling and hence, the extra runs that Vandort attained after being given "nout out", is given away by the otherwise well-respected umpire.

330 or so
We should get SL out by 330 from this point. It's easier said then done. If I'm the lankan coach, I'd ask my boys to be very very patient and try to go north of 350. The more they put in now the better chance they have to get a good lead and have our boys bend over backwards to reach 200 (hoping).
IF we do go past 200 and happen to score around 250, I'd expect the boys to take their sweet time to get there. Let's say 250 from 110 overs ? That way we will be able to cut into lunch on day three, leaving the Lankan's desperate to score some quick runs before putting us to bat again. We already saw what happend to them trying toscore quick runs, they WILL lose wickets, which will make it interesting until Jayasuria comes in and ploughs 100 in 50 balls. Don't forget that Nawaz has experience playing our boys in Dhaka and he was quite a handful. Also, they have Samara, Vandort (not too bad) and Tillakratne. *sigh*
Let's hope their 'anari' bowlers feel the pressure just like our inexperienced players do. Our players should remember that half their opponents have played less then 5 tests each (something like that). If you take out Jayasuria and couple others, both teams are equal in experience, except, they are playing at home.

SL Bowling
Wonder what VAAS, ZOYZA and MURALI would have done to our batting.
They scored 373 with this batting to wonder what they would have done with the REAL players in the team ?

I admit
I guess it's time I admit the obvious reality that Bangladesh players might not be as good as I thought they really are.
I really thought we had some good players who can both bat and bowl. Now, I see that our boys can only play when they are allowed to by the opponents. *sigh*
I guess what I am trying to say is that our players SUCK.

51 for 5
Bolte na bolte. Tushar gone. That's the third LBW in the game. Are you sure the Sri lankan's are ahem getting extra help from their umps ?
We lost many wickets in the first test to such decisions. *sigh*

LBWs were shown on TV
There were some TV replays shown on the 3 LBWs. And the TV commentators - the experts said that we need a batting coach to go travelling with the team - to tell the batsman little things like THE TECHNICAL BATTING FLAWS THAT THESE BATSMAN HAVE.
I hope BCB will learn from this mistake and will keep both Mohsin Kamal and Ali Zia with the national team while on tour.
