Don't know about vacation or marriage, but it's no brainer why so many of them picking up injury - it's too hot out there and some of our players don't know how to manage their own workload. Hasan was working hard on bowling, batting, fielding all three departments and prolly pushed himself too hard to cement his place in the team.
Based on what I see from that practice match, this is prolly our best XI against AFG:
Miraz
Bijoy
Shakib (though I will not be surprised if he promotes a right hander ahead of himself to face Mujeeb)
Mushfiq
Afif
Mosaddek
Sabbir
Mahedi
Saifuddin
Taskin
Mustafiz
With a long batting line-up, hopefully they will have courage to be more attacking. Also, they should learn to strategize w/o Nasum, as Nasum is unlikely to be effective on New Zealand or Australia.

Miraz opened in both practice matches and has done far better than both Bijoy and Emon on both occasions. In the first match, he scored 29 runs in 21 balls, and then 46 runs in 34 balls in the second.
Riyad failed to make impacts on both matches, while Mosaddek excelled. Mosaddek's 13 ball 48 runs helped set up Red team score to 219 today. In the first match, he scored 32 in 17 balls. In comparison, in two matches, Riyad scored run a ball 12 and 13 runs.
Mushfiq sat out the 2nd match. But Shakib confirmed today that Mushfiq is his first choice as the keeper (other option is Bijoy).
Meanwhile, both Nurul and Hasan have been officially withdrawn from Asia Cup, while Mohammad Naim has been added. The team will leave for UAE tomorrow afternoon.
Domingo has been officially relieved from T20I format. BCB hired Sridharan Sriram till T20I WC, as Domingo's replacement for the format. Sriram is known for making quick fixes to player's techniques, especially when it comes to spinners. Hopefully he will be judicious working with our players.

Actually, first innings of the last practice match was quite refreshing, especially Mosaddek's cameo at the end. Looks like Shakib already making positive effects on Miraz and Mosaddek. Hopefully this effect will translate into real matches.
Think Shakib got enough out of younger players during those practice matches, to dare to bench Riyad (someone Shakib wanted to drop since ODI WC'19), at least from next two matches. With Nurul and Liton (potentially, Yasir as well) on track for rehab, having 6 weeks to get match fit before NZ-Pak-BD tri-series, Mushfiq should know as well that time is running out for him to get his acts together in this format.
One thing is puzzling though - how Munim Shahriar (someone Shakib praised after BPL) was ignored in those practice matches, as well as Bangla Tigers T20 series against HP team (where HP had been kicking Bangla Tigers' behind). U/19 opening batter Mahfijul Islam Robin got the opportunities in both practice matches to open for Green Team (ie Shakib's opposition team). It seems injudicious to toss out the find of our last BPL completely out of picture so quickly.

IMO, selectors were hasty calling Emon to the T20I team, based on a practice match century against Bangla Tigers, that too during an one-day match. Since then, Emon came under greater scrutiny, team management realized he has limitations such as not good at rotating strikes (thus playing lot of dot balls) and not being good against offies. He's not really a viable option at this level yet, currently in the team more of an understudy. Even in last BPL, coach Salahuddin preferred Joy over Emon to open for Comilla. Thus selectors pushed themselves into a corner where they had no choice but to callback Naim as a backup option. Other option that was discussed was to call back Soumya, but Soumya is in a such an awful form currently that it would be joke of a choice. Management took look at green options such as Tanzid Tamim and Mahfijul Robin in the practice matches, but they're not yet desperate enough go for any such wildcard.
As for keeper, they already have Mushfiq and Bijoy in the squad. Other available backup options, such as Akbar Ali or Jaker Ali Anik will be called only in a dire situation where both Mushfiq and Bijoy are injured. If the need arises couple of weeks later, ie in the Super 4 stage, it's not entirely impossible for Liton to be added, who is already practicing batting at net, albeit with limited foot movement.
Not having another backup pacer in the squad (besides Ebadot), especially considering how hot UAE currently is, is definitely an worry. In think they're suffering from indecision whether to forgive Shoriful (for faking injury) and call him back, or try someone new like Mrittunjoy or Ripon Mondol, or resort back to Al-Amin Hossain (currently training with Bangla Tigers). Spanking that Shoriful took from Mosaddek in the last match does not help his case. Al-Amin was ok, but not impressive in the practice matches either. So, Ripon is now rumored to be the standby option. But perhaps Shakib is not yet sold on this skilled but inexperienced 19 years old. Given Dubai is only few hours flight away from Dhaka, it should not be difficult to add another pacer to the squad if Sujon-Shakib request for one.

I am hearing naim will open with anamul..if we are no wickets down how much run do you think we will score in the first power play? My guess 12 runs with 2 fours and 4 singles
Congrats Sri Lanka on securing their place in Asia Cup final! Next two matches (AFG-Pak, AFG-Ind) will be interesting for other teams to get through to final.
