Can't expect anything from a team being captained by a player who is way past his expiry date in this format with career sr avg of 118.

The less said the better about the trash hack that made his way back into the team to open the innings.

Afif's effortless lifts are delight to watch!! His six to long on region was the highlight for me yesterday. Goes on to show you don't need brute force for six but just pure timing. Of course Sachin mastered it. That's the beauty of cricket- you don't need powering stature or built to succeed. It's all about hand-eye and timing... like kali (filipino martial arts) where a 5'7" guy can kick axx just with reflex, coordination etc. People think Chris Gayle is only brute power. But he has supreme touch and fine hand-eye motor....

I hope we stick with Afif and given chance to cultivate his skills and talent.

I love Riyad. He is the sigma of our team...lol. But we can't bash captains (Muminul, Riyad etc) we lose. Coach, think tank and selectors need to take fair share of the blame.

Siddons still has that 10 years past mindset of "our team doesn't have world class players like jaya sanga.." WTF.. Why did we hire you? To hand out free Patron and Dos Equis at Sheraton. sthu mate... and do your job. Your job is to take wild horses and make them into race horses.
