LITERALLY any team from this position - be it Ireland, associates or any other- would "beat the devil out of it" and hit their way out of this match. But no we can't. Then again you have nincompoops like Shamim Chowdhury (whom I excoricated in a video) who LITERALLY thinks hitting six is a sign of arrogance.  |

Regardless of outcome I am still a fan of Riyad. I think he is the best captain till date we ever had.

I don't necessarily think we lost due to his bad captaincy but because of our batting. At any rate, I think from a gestalt optics of the track record at home, Riyad is the best captain we ever along with his calm disposition and not getting carried away answering only what he is being asked. |

Ok, but someone need to take responsibility. I cannot accept a loss to likes of Scotland, and possibly Oman and PNG. This is too much man. |

I was gonna rant about shoddy presentation for not having been able hear Riyad's side of the story. But then I realized it's a frikkin qualifier match.

Shakib-Mushfiq-Riyad fixed the match for a defeat, because they're so scared to face India-Pak-Afg-NZ in the super league. We will not improve in T20I with this sort of loser mentality, BCB needs to have a plan to phase out the seniors from this format.

Still not sure how i feel about Riyad's captaincy yet but yes giving that over to Afif at 53-6 definitely did change the momentum of the match. Why would you do that when Shakib and Mahedi were doing such a fabulous job and could have probably finished off the tail. That Afif over suddenly went for 10 runs and the rest is history. |
