Ariful Islam (MSC) carried his good form from U/19 WC (scored back to back centuries against Pakistan and South Africa) to score a mature 82 not out in 87 balls, in the MSC-Dhanmondi practice match.

Zakir Hasan (Rupganj Tigers) is having an outstanding streak - 304 runs in three innings, at SR 111!

He also had 3 centuries in 5 innings he played at BCL. He seems to be at peak of his form!

In the other news, Afif (Abahani), Mahmudullah (Mohammedan), and Nasum (Rupganj Tigers) are back in the country after the ODI series in SA.

Bijoy made the third highest List A score for a Bangladeshi batter yesterday, scoring 184 against Shinepukur. Top two scores still belong to Soumya (208 not out) and Raqibul (190). All the three innings were played on small grounds of BKSP during DPL.

Outside Bangladesh or DPL, the top List A score belongs to Mominul - 182 against Ireland A-team at Dublin.

Given that the ODI team is so well settled right now, it's unlikely for any of the DPL performers to come directly in consideration for the ODI team atm. They should rather target the A-team. As per the news today, the A-team suppose to tour West Indies in June-July.

Bijoy made history yesterday becoming the first ever batter to score 1K+ runs in a single list A tournament, scoring 1042 runs in 14 innings so far. Previous best was 917 runs (in 15 innings) by Tom Moody in 1991 English Sunday League.
