Strongest team right now?
Given cricket has been dead lately, here is my overall first impression regardless of format (but centered on ODI mainly). Seniors, ie people with higher post count than mine can possibly weigh in.
1. India and England
2. Australia and New Zealand
3. South Africa (still!)
4. Pakistan - Bangladesh
5. SL - West Indies
6. Zimbo - Ireland
7. Namibia
Zimbabwe could be higher

Pak is slightly stronger due to fast bowling.

Pak is slightly higher than us I reckon, its a toss up between SL and us. Afg is also probably on our tier....

I would say Pakistan is higher as well. Afghanistan probably slightly below SL and Windies.

Not sure why I skipped AFG. Yes, they are indeed very strong.

But I wonder how India would fare in England... these two are the hot favorites and the real contest is between them.

You win at home and lose overseas with the same team, it is a draw. You win overseas, you are better.
Test only: (After Covid)
Ind
the rest. Most of the teams haven't been tested yet.
As for BD, Shakib needs to get his act, physic together. We would hold our own then at home.

That would be a really exciting contest given how both teams are at this moment. I believe they have a series in England this year.

WI have the most exciting team if the players weren't too greedy.

We have a lot of good youngsters especially after the U-19 WC. Problem is that they regress after U-19 because of lack of domestic competition. You can compare it to India for example.
But if all done correctly, we can definitely form a strong team.

I’ve never seen a more caustic relationship between the board and players. The players are choosing a freaking T10 league over ODI cricket.
It’s all about the moolah

Bd looks a strong side because they have a core of. Experienced players...... Not many teams have players with experience like তামিম, শাকিব, mishfiq and riadh

Didn't Sri Lanka whitewash the last series we played them? What makes you rank them lower than us?

An amazing 8th ranked core!(last WC) One more world cup, maybe 10th ranked.

Take one name out (Shakib), regardless of how many experiencced players we have, it starts looking like a minnow team. that should tell alot.
Take two name out (Shakib and Mushfiq), AFG looks like the better team. Take all 4 out, hell even Nepal looks like a world beater when compared to this bd team.
Unless Miraz and co steps up their game, this BD team is going to go ZIM's way.
