Default Enough with Liton Das experiment!

He is way too frantic. Every time he bats he looks to play suicidal shots. Haven’t seen any player with this level of constant brain farts. Yes, he can play shots but he plays like he is inside an oven trying to get out. I just don’t get why he is too frantic and looks to get himself out at every opportunity?

Leave him be, still a way better option than Slowmim or Soumya.

Liton yeah will score single digits, but when he scores he will score good runs real fast. He is a definite mainstay in our T20 lineup.

Yeah, he is good for next 10 years to score in single digits with odd quick 50 here or there. Such is the standard of BD Cricket.

What makes me think he is not good enough is that the way he start batting, monitor him next time when he goes to bat, he is so fearful, he thinks to him self if you can't get me out I will make sure I get out, just watch last T20 series.

Can we try him at #7? We have no power hitter, maybe he can do well there

What makes me pissed with Liton and Soumya is that they are top order players who don't give themselves a chance to succeed, they don't put much value to their wicket, if it's not going their way they just give away their wickets cheaply.
They always look to be in hurry and only perform "on their day".
Look at how Naim fought it out at the beginning he was slow but he did not give his wicket away, which resulted as a great T20 innings.

While Litton is mediocre, he still gives something to our top order in T20Is which almost no other opener did. He makes use of the field restrictions and has a SR over 135+. That is pretty decent if you ask me granted he averages 20 something with bat. The issue is, the other opener and often no. 3 contributes little or are too slow.

BTW, Litton has sucked in Tests as well, drop him from tests

it would be dumb dropping liton. He just needs some mentoring on temperament. 25 yo still. Great vs. Spin and also short balls. I think he would do well in NZ and Aus.

Agree, Liton should be an LOI specialist. The Test slot should go to Nurul, or perhaps Akbar Ali in near future.
