Default Players unpicked in the draft whom you wanted to see?

Obviously BPL has had its fair share of mediocre cricketers. What suprises me is the list of players that was not picked eventually. I frankly wanted to see these players picked:

-Ryan Tendo
-Vander Merwe
-Brendan Taylor
-Ben Hilfenhaus
-Johnson Charles
-Kevin O Brian
-Owais Shah
-Mohammad Hafeez

Add to that, all of them has quite a lot of experience of playing for the national teams, surely that would make the league more competitive and also create a more star studded atmosphere(definitely more than some unknown names like kesrick williams, Howell Hawa)

Junayed Siddique was picked by Rangpur I believe. Marshall Ayub and Shadman non were picked but both were basiaclly tuk-tuk.

Shawon Gazi and Sanjit Saha were rookies and didn't perform much in domestics or U-19 WC.

You pick Jamshed when you could have picked Hafeez

I am 100% sure that our coaches and franchise people know very little about cricket, or T20 cricket in particular. They never heard about Johnson Charles? Hafeez? Hilfenhaus? Van Der Merwe? KOB?

Like what do they see in Jamshed or off-form Junaid Khan, or these Rovman Powells or Kesrick williams. Who really is Benny Howell. And Liam Dawson is a mediocre player.

Rovman Powell is a young all rounder who has done well recently, not surprised he was picked up.

Shawon Gazi did exceptionly well in other under 19s matches and won several MoMs. Better than Saha and Miraz(who was mainly an all-rounder). If you are focusing mainly on the WC performance then Pinak didn't deserve a place either.

Shawon Gazi would just add to the tally of the SLAs we have.

Pinak was a player of different mold compared to most BD batsman. He looked rather aggressive and was confident on the pull, still early days.

Really dont understand these t20 leagues at times. Stirling had a decent showing in 2013, doesnt get picked again. Same with Kevin who was excellent in the CPL for two seasons and the BPL. Too many crappy international players get picked off of what nation they're from as opposed to actual skill IMO.

Shame, one of the things I liked about the BPL and what set it apart was the Associate cricketers who got a chance. Even the Dane Freddie Klokker get a contract once.

Irish players probably don't see the BPL as worth the risks. Lets face it, the booze in BD is probably sub par (don't drink so don't know for sure), doubt if there are any good casinos or strip clubs, and if you won't get your full promised pay check is it worth the small but scary risk of getting shot at by terrorists?

After all Eoin Morgan declined despite more than adequate security...maybe the rest of the Irish feel the same way.

-Ryan Tendo - Hardly performed when he got picked
-Vander Merwe - We have dozens of SLA. He is Nothing special...
-Brendan Taylor - Picked up twice in BPL, Performed awfully, so fair not to get a team again.
-Ben Hilfenhaus - IS he still playing cricket? Maybe pulled out last minute due to Security reason? Aussie afterall.
-Johnson Charles - WHO?
-Kevin O Brian - Didn't performed well enough in previous BPL...
-Owais Shah - Left BPL after 2/3 games last year. HE is garbage anyway
-Mohammad Hafeez - OUT OF FORM for last 1/2 years. He hardly has any values these days as he is still banned from bowling/chucking

Hope that helps
