I believe that they were outfoxed by Sri Lanka. Conditions were similar to Sri Lanka. And Sri Lanka had a point to prove, after losing that match against Pakistan.

RoniUk, i never thought that he was one of them. But a new member (noname... why did he chose to call himself that??) to this site/forum seem to have misconceptions about Bangladesh cricket/team on the whole. Test cricket or not, Bangladesh cricket is special in the lives of every tiger fan, as evident in the turn out at the test matches. They (fans) are perhaps the most die hard in the world (test cricket or not). Taking test cricket away from them would be like taking away someone's property.

Not sure what is the point you're trying to make but you definitely can't fall asleep without paying a visit to this forum, pal!
Stop talking and focus on not getting butchered by a lower ranking team like NZ!

We'll just have to wait and see. If that is confirmed then it will ease some of the pressure on us, but in herath's case, he wasn't the best spinner for the Sri lankans, perera has the advantage over our batsmen. We just have to wait and see how the batsmen cope with still lanka's bowlers in this test match.

I just saw a video clip of Eranga bowling in nets. I did not see Herath and Lakmal.

Here is the practice session and press conference confirming Herath and Eranga having slight niggle. However Eranga was bowling in the nets.

According to Isam bhai, they dropped Robiul but keep Rubel in the 12-man squad. This is a absulate JOKE.

If that's true it's ridiculous.

Two injuries to major Sri Lanka players may make Bangladesh's task easier in the second Test, however. Rangana Herath's problematic knee has flared up, and he is a serious doubt for the match, as is Shaminda Eranga, who has a thigh strain after a month of heavy work.

Bangladesh: 1 Tamim Iqbal, 2 Shamsur Rahman, 3 Marshall Ayub/Imrul Kayes, 4 Mominul Haque, 5 Shakib Al Hasan, 6 Mushfiqur Rahim (capt & wk), 7 Nasir Hossain, 8 Mahmudullah/Abdur Razzak, 9 Sohag Gazi, 10 Robiul Islam, 11 Al-Amin Hossain
