Bad design, worse color choice. However, impessive collection of advertisements. This site is already making a lot of money!

Don't forget the very unprofessional site name! And do they really have to call our crickers "Tiger" everytime?

I don't think we will ever see lioncricket.com or kangaroocricket.com

oh my god, look at the top menu, yellow and white text? dont they have common sense. Now sometime I dont blame company who designed it because its the client who ask for crazy stuff. I been maintaininga web development firm for last 6 years. I have had many clients where they would ask for things which will look ugly. I had to argue with them and explain them about color, or show them some article about color and contrast.

I have worked with many web development company in Bangladesh, since I wanted to help my country by outsourcing work from USA. I also reviewed many companies work, it looks like they are lacking something which we gain here just by being here in US or UK or any western country. I had many situation where some developer is saying this is nice and I had to say yaak!!
Creativity is something we lack(even I cant find many design from India). Somehow european are better on this.
This is just my opinion and what I found out so far.

Since this site will represent our Cricket and our country to other countries, we need to show some quality. Yellow menu must be changed, and picture background is something 7 years ago thing..

I think they should hire someone to change the look and let the technology company do the rest(coding). It can cost as low as $200 to do this.

Could you approach all of their sponsors with your huge post#, member # and hits. Put your stat and tiger stats side to side and you could get at least a few deals.

You would have to spend a lot of money to buy a potential client list like that.

I don't know why people are so negative about this website. I see lot of info that I was not previously aware of. For example:

Hasibul Hossain is 105 years old and bowls Leg Break Googly.
Manzarul Islam Rana is also 105 years old and he bats right handed and he also bowls Leg Break Googly.

Now I knew Khaled Mahmud is old and that’s why every one calls him ChaCha. But I never realized he is also 105 years old and guess what? He also bowls Leg Break Googly.

Now how about Khaled Masud? I always thought he is a wicket keeper. Looks like he is also a hidden gem. He also knows how to bowl Leg Break Googly.

Also from this website you will know the latest and greatest info like after the injury, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza decided to change his career and decided to be a specialist Leg Break Googly bowler instead.

Now I am wondersing what we are going to do with all these Leg Break Googly. Is it just a coincidence or a master plan by BCB to make all these players Leg Break Googly bowlers?

Now about the design. This site is very innovative like menu item of text color of white with yellow background? Wow.... whose idea was that.

So see don't see the negative of that website. See the positive. You have lot to learn from this website.

But I admit, Mahmood is sadly right. That site managed to grab the piece of cake that we really need. Now I hope that all the member's here spare a few seconds to think how we can help . If you really like this site and support excellence then you should help us get SPONSORS!

I suggest that instead of being very critical, lets be more diplomatic, approach them and convince them to act soon and change the vender or whatever need to be changed to improve the site.

Looks like the vendor is not up to the standard in delivering quality websites, but they have money to provide windows(.net) based solution. Why would anyone go .net instead of java in Bangladesh, whats the deal here?

One problem may be is that no one is BCB is literate in information technology and they got ripped by this poor web design company.

BCB could not get banglacricket.com so they settled for tigercricket.com - hahah

Why doesn't BCB make BanglaCricket the official BD cricket site? This site is always updated and probably the best cricket fan site around!

Any funding from the board/sponsors could always help this site grow into a much larger community.

nothing surprising. The standard of official websites as such in Bangladesh have always been like this. There's something called private ownership and government ownership. Compace BC to BCB's ! Akash-kushum tofat!

The reason to have this site is mainly to make money from sponsors that both BCB and the developer company will split 50-50. It is not really focused on building a strong presence of BC on the internet.

When there are really good IT companies in Bangladesh that can deliver far better product than this, but did not get the contract, you can easily conclude that improper dealings went behind the scenes between the officials.

hey the color resembled the name of the site. they used yellow and black to match their colors with a tiger. also the site provides a lot insider info. apart from the ones fazal mentioned, i didn't know national league was supposed to resume today, enamul struck again, it also has a live score card that shows india scored 14/0 in 8 overs and in reply BD scored 6/0 in 16 overs.

I'm no web designer but the first thing that struck me is that the layout is very very similar to banglacricket.com. The design of the top banner, the menu below it, the division of info into similar sized rectangular cells, the alignment of the content, location of the newslinks at the end of the middle column, an input box under the upper-rightmost cell (both cells contain list like features - menu vs scrolling text), heck even the font style is similar!

But despite such blatant plagiarism, they still could not even remotely achieve the level of sophistication of this site. You guys should take it as a compliment from them you know - imitation is the best form of flattery

Setting aside the obvious incompleteness of their site, the only original aspect so far is the dreadful colour scheme and the hideous adverts. hmmm.. think I'll email and tell them that their website gave me a headache.
