He was a great Under 19 player too, probably the best batter on that level.

Bowling clueless on third day, no wickets. Lanka A has a 60+ lead with 0 wickets lost.

3rd and final OD match...series tied 1-1
BD boys posted 322-9 in their 50 overs. Saif Hassan with a century and Mohammad Naim Sheikh with a quickfire 66. Both batters average over 40 in List A cricket and only 20 years old. Definitely need to work them into our 2023 world cup squad.
We could have a decent ODI team for 2023. Shakib has stated his desire to retire after 2023 WC. Tamim and Mushy are fitness buffs who have the skills to last. Fizz is also a given if healthy. Mosaddek, Miraz, Saifuddin are likely picks. Nayeem and Afif could/should be there. 6 spots left.
Naim Sheikh looks very good, stats wise. Mrittunjoy and Tanzim Hasan Sakib look good as seamers. We need a wrist spinner in there (Biplob???), which leaves two spots left. A customary SLA you would imagine and someone else (hopefully not Liton or Soumya or Sabbir).

Hope Nannu-Bashar will stop wasting opportunities on Shanto-Soumya-Bijoy. Good performances from Saif-Naim, with both maintaining SR around 90% this series. I know those two lacks experience in T20, but I rather see Domingo working with them (in prep for T20Is in India and onwards) than wasting time with Soumya-Shanto.

It will be a tragedy for Bangladesh cricket if we can't manage to find a replacement for Tamim by next WC. This choker should be the last player to be considered for another WC. Hopefully, by then we will find a more than decent replacement in Saif, Naim, or Tanzid Tamim.

Don't think a bits n piece cricketer like Biplob will last that long. A Likhon comeback or rise of Minhaj Afridi by then is more likely.

Agree with you.
Shoumya and Bijoy are proven failures proved over time Again and again. I still can backup shanto due to his age factor, less expose but player like ss and anamul will never change.

Great finish by A team, still think that Lanka tour right after WC was a waste and probably end of Tamim.
