But honestly though... Has Kayes got some good contacts within BCB? I don't mind having him included when there is no one else but this is not the case anymore. Why couldn't we give Sabbir a Test cap? A good cricketer is a good cricketer in all formats (except Mominul ofcourse).

My fear is the only toss.....if we can bat first and pile some runs, Pakistan will be under huge amount of pressure ....wicket of misbeha and yunis to get, need to put pressure on them, otherwise they will try to bat first 2 days straight....so really wants musy to win the toss....hope he does..

Also his leg spin would work beside jubair....also sabbir got solid willow defense. ..not sure why kayes, hom, or srk got a chance....bcb playing gamble here....if they flop, bcb will get hammered by media..

We need 4 specialist bowlers + Shakib. We always struggle to take wickets so best option would be to strengthen the bowling and intelligently rotate the bowlers to pick up wickets. Taijul Jubair both should play

Something interesting regarding Hom. Recently the team management have been encouraging all rounders to perfect both their abilities to provide the captain more options. Spin bowling coach mentioned this recently. So based on one of the articles on Daily Star today, it seems like Hom will be selected as one of the specialist spinners in place of Taijul which also adds depth to our batting. Seems like Hom, Jubair and Shakib will form the spin trio with the pacers there as well.

Test cricket is an arena for specialists. This format is not suited for bits and pieces all rounder. We already have a genuine all rounder in Shakib which allows us to bat till number 7. Having an 8th batsman would matter very little if we cannot bowl the opposition out. The focus should be on how to take 20 wkts and not worry about batting. Worrying about batting is a very negative approach before the start of the series. We have to have faith in the top 7 guys to deliver.

Dont think Taijul will be dropped.. he is a specialist bowler in Test

After checking the latest test performance of Pakistan, it looks like Bangladesh need to play their A+ game to win this game. Azhar, Younis and Misbah are the hardest wicket to take in our condition. Also I am not too worried about Pakistan bowling attack except Yasir Shah. My worry is our Batsmen throwing away their wickets.
