World Cup 2007
"Bangladesh is taking nothing for granted" - Bashar
24 March 2007

Bangladesh camp is much relieved after Sri Lanka trounced India by 69 runs to revive Tigers world cup dream. Now they face a relatively straightforward task of beating Bermuda in their last group match to reach the main stage of the gala event.

"Bangladesh came to the world cup with the target of reaching super 8.

I was in the process of editing it after publishing it. Official source added.

It takes a bit time to finalize the bulletin.

BTW, in case of "internet sources" we always mention

Good to see that Bashar is trying to keep the players focused on the next match. TigerCricket also said Razzak's injury is a minor one and he should be okay.

Quote:
The Tigers had a net session at the St. Mary’s College Grounds in the morning. Left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak rested because of a minor groin problem and only batted.

“He should be okay. It’s nothing serious. We told him not to bowl today as a precaution,” said Bashar.

its good to see that our think tank is not going overboard and not looking at the super 8 matches. Insha Allah they will win against Bermuda.
