Phil Simmons is tactical genius.

He will take this Afghanistan team very far.

this is a boring final..just because WI made it to the WC looks like their plays dont give a hoot about this match. nothing to gain for their players. they are already thinking about IPL and other T20 leagues

Scotland would have turned this final into a contest

Shame after all these close matches, Final is a borefest

WI made a travesty of this A grade tournament in the final. WI is my fev team after BD but sometimes I just hate their laid back attitude

Need to change the skipper. And bring in our future lucky charm and talisman: Rahkeem Cornwall

WI just got by this time. What will happen in the next qualifying?

They are now 15 points behind BD in the rankings. SL will improve with Haturi. I can't imagine in my life time I would see a WC without WI if I am to live 6 more years.

Sikander Raza is player of the tournament.

319 runs at a strike rate of 109...and also picking up 15 wickets.

ICC could have easily compiled a 14 team WC here. unlike other times they had 14 deserving team this time.

12 test nations+Scotland and Netherlands. dont look at Ned's performance in this qualifier. they won the ICC division one league with authority and are going to participate in the ODI league as the only associates

this 14 teams would have made a great world cup easily. but noooo you got to milk the cash cow as much as you can

ICC WC Qualifiers thread was a hit because we had more participation; and that most of the matches were actually closely fought.

Vixen should take note... lol
