Shak will tolerate Mash. If he revolts, his political future will be in the line of fire. So, he won't. He will be happy with MVP tag line.

For those who are interested, here are few interesting facts about our last national election. Mind you, these facts are published by the national election commission - six months after election when they have published and certified results for every polling booth on their own website.

Fact 1. In 213 polling booths, there were 100% votes. These booths are spread out in 103 seats. Shame on America, the preacher of democracy - even they have not achieved this feat yet.

Quote:
Fact 2. In 1,418 polling centers, voting was 96-100%. Another achievement!

Quote:
Fact 3. But there was also stark contrast.

Quote:
Fact 4. In 576 polling booths, candidates outside BAL did not receive a SINGLE VOTE.

Quote:
Fact 5. Aliens might have voted

Quote:

Don't care if Mashrafe is the Prime Minister of USA or the MP of Narail. He can do whatever he likes outside of cricket but when performance on the field has dropped at such an alarming level in whole world cup then he needs to step aside for someone else to come in and do the job instead of weakening the team, and blame also goes to coach and management for not telling him that we cannot go on like this in such an important tournament which comes once in four years.

If it was a strict coach like Hathurusingha at the helm I am sure he would have thrown tantrums at seeing mashrafe play. Even Sri Lankan best players like Chandimal and Matthews were not spared , though they have a poor team I would say they have done reasonably well winning the test series in SA (without Matthews and Chandimal) and finishing in a decent place in world cup.

He played with grade 2 tear, he's not gone shot overnight

Coach should have sidelined him for injury

Shak will do what most people who have fame and wealth in BD would do. That won't bother me a whole lot. Mash is doing the same thing. Joke's on us who thought Mash would be a new breed of politician with integrity and a difference maker

My BCB govt. complacency satire (where the team is melodrama entertainment showcase for the ruling govt.) threads do not seem so outrageous anymore, do they? I am going to bump them. I see things two-three years ago, before they happen.

Its a bit disheartening, I mean we knocked Out England in the 2015 WC which made them re-evaluate their whole 50 over set up. We beat NZ in the Champions Trophy in 2017 and I was comparing scorecards from that match to the XI that they'll field in the final & they've made some significant changes.

Just very lousy job from the administrations point of view.

^^ That's a very interesting point - we knocked out India in 2007 as well, made them go through a serious evaluation, which ultimately helped them win WC'11.

In our case, unfortunately, the PM is already out to protect our "little boys" - some of who happened to be the most experienced players this WC

It's no surprise because you'll still see fans defend players like Mash,
Tamim etc after this massive failure. Though admittely the ones on the forum with blind love have gone quiet for the past two weeks.

But watch, when Tamim scores many runs and Mash gets buckets loads of wickets in this upcoming SL series they will come out with 'told ya so' comments and threads
