Mighty Aussies? The current team certainly have some cracks - for the time being primarily covered by Warner, Smith, Finch, and Starc. If we bat first and exploit those cracks, we can win inShaAllah!

The Aussie side is far weaker than India and certainly beatable. Most sides are top heavy in this tournament except us. Aussies are no different and will rely on Warner, Finch and Smith heavily to cover their inconsistent middle order. If we can get the top 3 out, our chances will improve exponentially. At the same time Australia rely on Starc and Cummins for wickets. If we can play Starc out like India did against Amir, we can attack the remaining bowlers during the middle overs. We need to hammer maxwell as soon as he comes on to put pressure back on Australia and force Finch to bowl Starc during the middle overs. Less overs from Starc will make things easier at the death. I would open with Miraz and Saifuddin against Warner.
If we win the toss we need to target 320. If we lose the toss and bowl we must also expect to chase 300+ Now that we scored two innings in excess of 300 in 4 games we won't panic. In Liton we also have the firepower of a Soumya at the death. If openers can post 50, we have the middle order to trouble the aussies

Australia barely went past West Indies and Pakistan, there are some chinks in that armour for sure. And furthermore I am having this feeling they think they are already through to semis and will drop in intensity for the BD game. They will try to win yes but it won't be the the match of their lives for them like it will be for us

BD gonna be fired up for this game in particular. Cricket Australia have not treated BCB with any respect whatsoever. This is time for BD to give it to the Aussies.

We need forget about who insulted us and play as a professional unit just like we did vs WI and SA. Shakib didnt even celebrate the century. Just keep it cool and keep faith on our skills. We are an emotional bunch in any case so the less hype we bring into the match the better especially for players like Mushfiq and Tamim.

Bangladesh also plays well with emotion , remember the 2016 T20 world cup against India after Taskin for reported for bowling action? We were not supposed to get close to beating them in a T20 match at their home .Also the 2015 India tour the players were fired up after that Sharma incident in quarterfinals

We were not supposed to stand a chance in a T20 game Vs India at their home ground in 2016 but we came mighty close. And then in 2015 I clearly remember how animated Shakib was and the players were when beating India, we won the series in the end.

We lost because mushfiq could not control his emotion. That loss has to be one of the most painful losses i had to endure

We were not even supposed to go to.the last over , if you remember that was a horrible tournament for us and the India game was our best performance even though we lost ! That is my point , our performance will increase when the players are fired up. We must also look at the context instead of isolating the Mushfiq incident, that was a damn good performance put in before the final over against one of the favourites of the tournament.

What i dont like about this "dekhai dimu" attitude is that we have adopted it many times in the past but we have rarely been successful. When you frame it like Aussies did this and that so we will win and get revenge, it doesn't have a fallback option in case we lose. I know some shameless fans will just ignore and say the same thing all over again the next time we play aussies but for me i think letting our game do the talking is much much better than the loud mouth approach. If we can execute our skills we have a good chance but we need to understand the aussies are also here to compete. The fact that they cancelled their tour of bd is not going to help Saifuddin land those yorkers. Practice, preparation and a calm head under pressure will.

Small ground + batting pitch. Expect 350+ score from the Australians.

Every coach and manager in sporting teams tries to motivate the players, if any external incident can motivate the players to perform there is nothing wrong with that as long as they don't cross the line and insult the opponents. For example Imran Khan went to the field wearing a tiger jersey and also used the hospital funding as motivation to do better. I think you are mistaking fan behaviour and actions with players behaviour actions . Dekhai dimu doesn't mean they will go into the field to sledge or make memes. They will go into the field to give 110%

I dont like the 1971 reference to every win against Pakistan or Sehwag insult reference to every win against India. We dont need cheap motivation born out of negative incidents. Just like the great WI side of the 70s and 80s or the Aussie side of the 90s we can give 110% based on pride of representing bangladesh and the desire to compete against the best. This is just my own opinion.

No motivation is bad even if it is cheap, it is cheap only in your eyes. There is problem when there is a lack of motivation among players but you will never
hear extra motivation is bad. As long as they don't break any rules there is no harm in extra motivation.
