From what I've looked at so far Nadif Chowdhury has had the best innings so far with a 100(74), theres been a few 100's and I hope that there is a typo on Marshal Alub innings in which he scored 82*(15)!

BTW: JO was had a strong start with a 61* and 76 and Dollar took the first 5 for and enam had an innings of 4/19.

Marshal Ayub scored 82 runs in 15 balls without scoring a single boundary !!! How is that possible ???

Nadif's batting form is impressive, but why have he given up bowling ?

Probably thought he has more chance to get a call into the national team as a batsman compared to another SLA allrounder

the max one can score off a ball without boundary is 3, unless fielders were throughing balls from one end to another of the field and let them run freely in between.

given that, the max can be scored from 15 balls is 45 without boundary. from the strike rate, he did score 82 off 15 balls, the scorer must have made mistake (or he did not know so used 0's) in place of sixes and fours.

Has anyone noticed Tamim scoring 7 runs for 30+ balls? This is the first time I saw his SR so low.

He got a MoM but lost the match because of slow runrate, lol. That would not put any pressure on Mehrab/ Rajin/ Sadat.

You got it wrong, JO's team Partex won the match against Biman by D/L method. Matter of fact, Partex has not lost a match yet.

Also, JO hate club, please don't come after me, I am just stating the facts here.

ya and any Gullu fan still left ... don't give up your fight again. The experiment with opening slot will continue according to Jugantor. So any one is still a fair game: Ash, Gullu, Lallu, Bhullu eveyone will have a change to try their luck if they still can win the lottery prize.

GrameenPhone Corporate League
Acme in last four
Sports Reporter

Acme Labo-ratories stor-med into the semifinals of the Grameen-Phone Corpo-rate Cricket League as Group A champions with a 43-run win over StarTel at the Fatullah Cricket Stadium yesterday.

The match marked joining of the top cricketers of country to the tournament with national captain Habibul Bashar and Mohammad Rafique taking field for Acme, who finished their group phase with nine points from five games. StarTel finished with four points.

Channel F2 handed a 32-run defeat on Chittagong Port Authority in a rain-affected match while the match between holders Beximco and Syfang Fan was abandoned due to wet ground at BKSP. Group B leaders Partex are the only other side to have confirmed a place in the last four.

Acme skipper Bashar won the toss and elected to bat but he reserved the last slot for himself, wishing not to take the bat in hands. His side did him a favour as their ninth wicket fell in the last ball of the stipulated 50th over with 250 runs on board. He, however, was on the field while Rafique was in full action. Man-of-the-match Marshall Ayub was the top scorer with 64 while Pakistani batsman Zahoor Elahi notched 52. Ahsanullah Hassan with 3-33 was the pick of StarTel attack while fellow left-arm spinner Mohammad Isam bagged 2-54. StarTel, who failed to reach a paltry 107-run target in their previous match, batted well but got as far as 207-8 in 50 overs. Nayeem Ahmed smashed 54 while former national paceman Hasibul Hossain picked 3-40.

At the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium, a delayed start due to overnight rain allowed only 28 overs per side and there were little fireworks on a difficult wicket. Channel F2 were all out for 78 but successfully defended the low total when they shot out the Chittagong outfit for only 46 with man-of-the-match Shahin Azad grabbing fice wickets for seven runs. Kangkan was also on fire taking 4-17.

My question is why not? Too tired partying or too tired after scoring so many gollas in champions trophy?

Good question. He should take every opportunity to bat to regains his form back before ZIM series.

Once you are superstar..you don't need to work hard. You will sit crossing your leg
with that sunglass and red 'orna' he got from ajmiri sharif...he will be better of
doing keramoti than playing in cricket league in future as he is loosing his ground.
