Murali and his doosra
seems like murali will get lot of wickets with his doosra against bd. my question is he allowed to bowl it or not? i am not questioning whether it is illegal or he is chucking or not but if there a rule it should be equal for everyone.
seems like murali cant use it against england or australia (dont want to use the term "white" countries) because they whine about it.......... but he will be using it against other teams. nearly all his wickets are coming off with that doosra and young bd batsman who are playing him for the first time, it is really hard to handle. if he is using it only against subcontinental countries, team management should think of taking it upto match ref.

There is no restriction on the use of the doosra. It was cleared by the ICC and Murali uses it against any team SL plays against.
Ironically Murali seems to have lost some of his efficiency after he started bowling the doosra. He may have got wickets with it but the common feeling here is that he would do better without it.
Murali is also not the only bowler who uses the doosra. Anil Kumble uses it too.
Personally I feel Murali should use this delivery especially because some tried to victimize him on this as they couldn't stand a bowler from a small country like ours becoming a world-beater.
By the way, if the Doosra is not fair, ICC will fear SL going to courts only if the courts are controlled by Sri Lanka.
Murali will continue to shine is spite of all unfair criticism and attempts at victimization.

What else we need to play as a test nation? Should we ask other country to play with 10 men against us because we are newbie?

I stand corrected. Yes, it is Harbajan Singh, not Kumble.
