Reading the news seems like an absolute massacre happened, may even be worse than shootings in the US

Tour called off. Rightly. Security should never be compromised no matter where you are.

Yeah. You would think that NZ would be one of the safest places in the world, but nope. I wonder how did the shooter got hold of an automatic rifle.

Terrorism is a pan world problem, all the countries need to show a zero tolerance policy against it, India has been suffering, Bangladesh has been suffering, not one country has been untouched, need to confront terrorists and their supporters.

Disappointing the tour was cancelled since we play so little cricket. I guess boys are not in the right frame of mind to play.
Guess we'll just have to wait till September to watch red ball cricket.
Hope the BD, PAK, AFG teams are able to secure security for jummah during the WC - there has already been a white nationalist attack on a UK mosque in the recent past, to go along with the shooting at the Quebec City mosque couple years ago.

This is the reason I've stopped going to jummah ever since 2016.
Quebec City, London, Christchurch...only a matter of time.

I go to jummah at a pub's clubroom, I avoid large mosques.

What's a pub's clubroom?
I would go in a "safer" locale like NYC/Chicago/LA or UK or Canada (despite the anomaly of Quebec City). But I live in a different place.
Having said that, no place is truly safe, except perhaps Pyongyang (but that provides a different danger altogether).
If anyone deserved a life sentence without parole its this guy(s).

Probably not. All my friends still attend jummah. No one has been shot yet. I'm just extra paranoid.
Pittsburgh synagogue shooting is just a sign of the times.
Humanity has globalized too fast. Overwhelming majority of humanity are all still tribal people and modern technology has enabled both mass immmigration and easy wars in overseas countries and both are fueling extremism which ideologies of all stripes are far to eager to cash in on.

I dont do it for safety reasons. But now its on the back on my mind.
We did have an attack last year in London on a mosque after tarawi prayers. Killing one man.
