Simpler now.
We must beat PAK or India.
Then, England must lose all its matches, SL must lose 2/3 and PAK must lose to NZ.

You have to be out of your mind to give england a semi-final chance to "take care of them later". Thier batsmen can outbat you to the moon. Heck, even Pakistan is not a safe choice, those guys can turn up any time. Amir is in red hot form.
Every single team would prefer our toothless bowling team than england or even pakistan.

Based on past experience, there is some ongoing camaraderie among certain boards, and people enjoy having their frenemies around. Do not ignore the monetary prospect either.

It is always better when Pak looses.. haha
On a serious note, it is imperative that Pak looses to nz.. if Pak win, they will go on to the semis, destroying our dreams.. and might even go on win the worldcup like 92.

If pakistan looses tomorrow, does that mean they are out? And nz moves to the semis ?

We need to win one more at least granted England lose both their next games, if they win one we need two wins.
Also taking in to consideration Pak don't win all three of their remaining games and Lanka not winning more than one

This is incorrect.
If Pakistan wins against NZ and AFG, and lose to us, we will have the same points as them assuming we lose to India.
In that situation it comes down to NRR, in which we will be superior to Pakistan. Second tie breaker is head to head, which we will also have.
So tomorrows game really is not as big as you are making it sound.
However if Pakistan lose tomorrow, then as long as we beat them there will be one less team competing for the final spot if we can beat them.

Even if Pakistan looses tomorrow, we loose to India, game is still on. The only possible way for us to be out, along side pak and SL is if England wins 2/2 of their last games. If England looses 2/2, 100% they are out assuming no washout.
In that scenario, either one of pak/BD will go through assuming pak goes on to beat AFG. Or SL could go through aswell if they win at least two more games and if both BD/pak looses one out of their last remaining matches

How have Australia already qualified?
Let's say Australia lose both remaining matches and remain on 12 points
NZ beat Pak, Aus and have 15 points
Ind beat WI and Ban and have 13 points
Eng beat Ind and NZ and have 12 points
SL beat SA, WI and Ind and have 12 points
Australia can still get knocked out on NRR can't they?

They can but realistically speaking, SL RR is piss poor. Not to mention AUS would have to loose by a huge margin, vise versa for Lanka. Mathematically you are correct, but realistically it's highly unlikely.

Before runrate, the teams will be compared based on number of wins. Sri Lanka will have fewer wins than Australia.

Exactly
1st priority is number of points, then number of wins and then NRR.
Now even if Lanka and Aus are on same points, Lanka had 1 less win Australia

Permutation combination won't take us to semi, we need to beat IND and PAK

To put this way, for BD to qualify despite winning only one match we need the following to happen:
1) England losing both their games
2) NZ beating SL and Pakistan
3) SA beating SL and WI
4) Afghanistan beating WI(If SA doesn't beat WI)
5) Afghanistan beating Pak
6) India beating both WI and SL
So as you can clearly see, there is a lot that needs to go our way for that to happen. But for Bangladesh to qualify, it is almost imperative that we beat India and Pakistan, and hope England don't win more than 1 game.

Yes, but why take chance? Since Pak is also a contender, and our win against Pak is not guaranteed.
I said Pak needs to loose for us to get better chance. They will be out of wc if they loose against nz as nrr will not help them even if they beat us somehow.
This Pak team is exactly playing like they played in 92. Their win loss pattern is exactly the same. Need to break that pattern.
Sometimes it feels like this whole wc is scripted if you look at Pakistan's pattern.
