We can if we defeat india. Pak & afg.

That's what I gathered from bc.. win 3 of the last 4 games.
Or am I missing something here?

Tell me about it!
We must be the only country where the national airline doesn't land at the capital first and lands in another city.

Atm, Biman first lands at Sylhet from Heathrow. You sit in the aircraft for an hour ( you are not allowed to get off! ) and then in 30 mins. you arrive at Dhaka.
Previously, you landed at Dhaka and all the Sylhetis were given free hotel for overnight stay ( 3* hotel ) and then the next day, they took a flight to Sylhet.

I guess by having a stopover at Sylhet, it saves Biman money in jet fuel costs or having another aircraft ready to go to Sylhet.

I thnk 3 wins wont be enough here unless other big teams mess it up really badly. We may not be out of the world cup just yet, but realistically we are out. Would be happy if we stay at #5

The problem with that is even if we win all those games our rivals Australia and NZ will edge ahead of us thanks to the wins we handed to them being direct rivals and the better NRR they have

Both NZ and Aus are now just one more win away to mathematically confirming their place and we know SA is not going to stop Aus and both WI, Pak are not going to stop NZ. Their NRR is also better than us so equalling them on points will also not be enough .

The only other option is if England/India does a major mess up of their games which isn't happening.

In short we need the kind of luck Pakistan got in 1992 to go through now maybe more.

We still have two more matches on our hand to create new moments that will compensate for the lost moments and propel us to semi

As Jadukor said, you will spill some chances, but if you are a good team, you have to keep generating new chances.

Injuries happen

Toss is chance

We failed to run Williamson out and catch rohit

That cost us 4 points, fact.

Selecting one player over and over who is not doing any good to the team cost us the semi final spot. You can't play every matches with 10 men at this stage.
