Afghan ages are never acurate. But ya all afghan players have shown maturity in their approach. They all at least try to take responsibility, you can see that, even if they fail. But our lot is completely irresponsible &/or knee jerks.

Truth of the matter is when we bat, we'll fold within 2 sessions.

So today can be entire rained out and we'll still lose.

Why was the Fizz dropped?

Its Afghanistan, all you have to do is bowl medium pace on the 5th/6th stump and they'll edge it to slip.

Tamim didnt want to play in this Test because he saw this coming and characterized it as mental rest, because this would have been a career-ender.

From CI

SarfBD: "I would rather see Bangladesh lose rather than a washout. Team management have been employing short term negative strategy for a long time. Packing spinners in slow low pitches, not even trying to develop a decent pace attack, struggling in away series and waiting for home series to feel good- the writings are on the wall for a long time. I don't know whether this will work as a wake up call or not. But it's damn time."

If I recall correctly one of the Afghanistan players commented at the press conference that they got lucky Bangladesh didn't pick a single pace bowler. Otherwise they would have struggled.

Don't worry guys BCB will use the coaching staff as a escapegoat again and sack them. That's definitely our only problem.

Waiting for Ireland and Zimbabwe to overtake us on test matches now.

Three great observations!

Dropping Fizz against AFG was a fatal mistake.
Rain won't save us.
Not only Tamim, many of us saw this debacle coming, and Tamim like a true opportunist opted out requesting mental break. COWARD!

If you lose to Afghanistan by 200 runs, no amount of Fizz or even Rabada, Archer, Bumrah will make a difference.

If we go on to Stoke our way to a win by chasing 400 on the backs of a Mominul and Mosaddek special, its all a moot point. Afghans are renowned at choking after all.

At least one pacer was a must for some variation in bowling.

It’s unlikely that we will chase this down. Afghanistan in full control.

Bd has 2 sessions today
170 runs more with only 2 down will give defiantly some spice to this test
If bd pull through this , coming India series will be visible to the world
