Rubel instead of Riyad ?

He hides behind Mushy's saree and always fields in places where the ball hardly comes.
And, owing to his injury, he can't bowl either.

Should we not be taking Rubel instead of a player like him whose presence makes no difference.

I am really wanting that; what's the point of having so many batsmen; we dont need so many batsmen at the line up , Mosaddek is enough, Rubel should be included instead of Riyadh, but won't happen ; that is why not even raising the point

this i agree with. rubel can only come in place of Miraz depending on the opponent/pitch. But I would probably keep miraz against Australia. He can also replace Mosaddek and "weaken" the batting. those are your two choices really.

Rubel should play but not at the place of Dulla. Experience matters in the world cup, and Riyad had bailed us out many times in the past. I say we continue with him and replace one of Mosaddek/Miraz against India and Pakistan to make room for Rubel the 18 runs an over guy..

Dont know why people all of a sudden got so fascinated about Rubel. I trust Mash more than I trust Rubel to be honest

if mash bowls within first 40 overs, his economy rate will be good. for death overs we have saif, mustafiz and shakib. then why compalin?

mash's main quality is captaincy. there is no doubt about it.

if rubel is in, either miraz or mosaddek need to go out. thats more logical and india and pak team play spinner well

It would be wonderful to see, but not happening. The two bros in law will not retire until the ripe old age of 40 or when they become League MPs, whichever one is first.

But speaking of Rubel, I think they will bring him in for Miraz vs Ind and Pak. They see Miraz as a bowler only, so it will be pace for spin vs the asian countries as they are quite strong vs spin.

I don't think they are moving Mossadek or Saifuddin, as they are being developed as finishers with bat and ball respectively. Mash loves Saifuddin's yorkers. And Mossadek with the pre WC WI performance, and then the South Africa performance has done his job quite well.

Rubel might find a place in the XI but not at the expense of some one who bats at number 6.

I think Rubel is a must for the India game. I would replace Miraz with Rubel against India.
