And please can BCB not give the broadcasting rights to ATN? Channel I used to do a much better job broadcasting cricket. Or at least pay a foreign company to produce the broadcast feeds and then let ATN televise it.

Does anyone know if foreign cricketers are allowed - this being a national tourney I'm guessing they won't be?

I think that this will be a much better tournament in BD, unlike the PCL which is a waste of time.
It shows that the BDs have no clue to playing 20/20 cricket because they do not play enough of it, only playing now because of the WC 20/20.

foreign players will be allowed.

IPL allows.... and it is indias national t20 league.

Since Champions Trophy is as stake why not get all the best players in one team like Khulna (Trinidad & Tobago)? Shakib, Mash, Rasel, Raj, Rubel, Sadat and so many more. Add Tamim, Riyad to that team.

Long term thinking guys!!! No distribution of talent in between the divisions!!!

league tahole jombena. for a commercially viable league you need a competitive league. what they can do is allow the champion team to accept players on loan for international engagements.

I think you guys are dreaming that a BD 20/20 team can play in the champions league. T&T is playing because they beat England in Stanford sponsored tournament, and they are good. I bet they will beat the Nat. BD team in a 20/20 match.
National players of BD have to learn how to play 20/20, they dont have a clue.

UEFA lets champions from it's weakest nations compete

It's not True Champions League if it only involves 4 or 5 nations

was meaning to post sth like that.... this season there were teams in uefa champions league for whom the appearance money in champions league will cover their next 3 years expense... but yet they played against the giants and and fared pretty well...

including teams from even more diverse leagues (in cricket's champions league) will only make the tournament even more attractive and revered (just like football's champions league)
