One of his points was BD needs a strong first class system in place to do well in this format. 20 years later, we still have a very poor domestic setup-as described by many as picnic cricket.

Riyad also needs a genuine break from the game like Tamim. Not that long ago, don't forget he got a Test hundred against New Zealand in New Zealand. We need some humiliation to shake up the guys & BCB but I'm sure we don't afford this one, it will be too costly. This loss will haunt us for decades.
