After a period of 940 days, the organizers and match officials have decided to resume the Timeless Match. They've shifted the venue to New Zealand. Mclean Park. Umpires Kumar Dharmasena and Chris Gaffeney walk out to the middle, followed by the players...here we go, cricket once again.....:

Ambrose pitches this one outside off stump, Hadlee plays at it and misses the ball, there was some late movement away from the bat, collected comfortably by Mashud who nonchalantly tosses it to Faf du Plessis at first slip. Faf is giving the ball some good tongue action.
