Prothom Alo and Greenidge
Prothom Alo claims that Greenidge is meeting in Bangkok right now with Ali Asgar Lobi to finalize the terms of his second stint as BD coach, which will commence after the World Cup! Does Kamal's contract run out after the WC or are we going to sack him? What if we do really well, do we still sack him anyway? This raises quite a lot of questions. Overall, I think most people will be happy to hear that we are getting Greenidge back. Shubho surely will, hehe.

Should Kamal be sacked -
1) if we win no game ?
2) if we win against Canada only ?
3) if we win against the minnows only ?
3) if we win 3 games ?
I would like to hear some thoughts if either 1 or 2 is the reason.
If so, then what are the expectations from Greenidge ?
And if those are not met in 12 months time, whose going to be the real jack_ _ _ then ?
I'm sure no one will be calling out Subbho's name ?
Awaiting for your comments....

Mohsin Kamal's contract was upto the world cup.
And Greendige also cannot take up the coaching job for Bangladesh inside the world cup because his contract with the WICB is until the world cup.
If Mohsin Kamal does really good (Bangladeh able to beat both Canada and Kenya), then he can still be an academic coach - a specialist bowling coach for Bangladesh - when or if required.
After all, Sri Lanka also have a specialist bowling coach, besides Dave Whatmore. In Sri Lanka's case, that specialist bowling coach is a Lankan too.

Bowling for BD did improve in last year. However not sure how much Mohsin Kamal contributed to that.

Yes, our bowling has improved, especially in the pace department. Come to think of it, all our ex foreign coaches have been batsmen (Amarnath, Greenidge, Barlow, Chappel, actually God knows what the hell Chappel was) so perhaps our bowlers did benefit from having a bowler as coach.
As Fahmida has clarified that Kamal's contract ends after the WC, the question of sacking him does not arise.

Right ! So the question should have been whether his contract ought to be renewed or not !!

If funds are not a problem I think we should appoint Greenidge has the head/batting coach, and Mohsin Kamal as the bowling coach.
I think Mohsin Kamal as done a decent job, better than Chappell.

Yes, Handle is right.
Another option would be to not keep Kamal in any status at all, but bring in Andy Roberts from time to time.
However, that may be gravely unjust to Kamal.

Keeping Kamal as bowling coach sounds like a pretty good idea. I'd say that we should go ahead with the two coach idea regardless of our WC result.
I doubt that will happen though. BCB will surely not renew the contract if we win only 1 or 0 matches.
