Default Ken restricted Border to just 194/8 in 48

Kenya has restricted Border to just under 200 runs in 48 overs.

It also shows how they failed to maintain a pressure from 38/5 to 194/8.
However, BD has never been able to buildup from such wreckage.

Default Kenya\'s bowling

They may not be high profile but what I admire about the Kenyan bowling lineup is that they are very desciplined. However, keep in mind that their players have been around for much longer then our kids.
You see the same in our very own Monju. Wonder why he keeps his place and looks the most dependable ? Descipline and experience. He does let loose sometimes but he is the most consistent.
The reason I don't worry much about Talha, Tapash and Masri. As long as they stay fit (not injured) and in good standing with the board (ie, unlike Nannu) and in fairly good form, this kids will raise our hopes for a super six standing in the 2007 World cup. (West Indies is not far away so I'll be there to cheer them on).

Paks playing an un-official game vs a Geutang invitational squad, wins only by 20 runs.

Not much should be read into these warm-up results.

Why did BD not schedule 1 or 2 UNoffical practice games in SA, rather than Namibia ?

Would that have been a better deal ?

Default Standing

Pakistan definitely has more authority than BD so if they demand a match, they can have it. Also, it's good for both sides.
However, for Bangladesh, it's not the same thing.
Also, PCB has more dough to spend than BCB.

Also, practice matches do count but last wc, we did awfully well in our build up (as far as I can remember) but the end result was same where we barely beat scotland and got lucky with pakistan but lost the other match without a fight.
